My personal motive is to stop promoting confusion and reveal the truth that is based on evidence and logic with the intention to not mistreat anyone. The Abayanda, Bakiga, Bafumbira, Bahutu and Batutsi DO NOT BELONG TO A RACE. Unless of course the usual suspects told them that they do. I am not doubting that there is mistreatment that is going on among non-white people. All that I am personally saying is that that msitreatment is not based on the concept of "race" and/or racism. Consequently, that mistreament is taking place within the context of racism/white supremacy. E.g. the situation with the Bahutu and Batutsi in what we loosely refer to as the "RWANDAN GENOCIDE". Remember that? Soon after the whole situation cooled down, people came out with historical eveidence that the racist man and racist woman (White Folks) had been to that part of the world and that they had told the Batutsi that they are a superior group to the Bahutu just because some of their features resembled those of the racist man and racist woman (White Folks) .

And yeah, sorry for sounding all adamantly right in my previous response. That's not kefta. I just don't like it when people apply white constructed social concepts to the realities of all non-white people. Thus, i am against the understanding that AFRICA needs DEMOCRACY.

But that's what racism is based on surely?
It begins with differentiation of groups of people, primarily on
one or all three listed below:



1)a category of humankind that shares certain distinctive physical traits.

2)an actually or potentially interbreeding group within a species

3)a member of an ethnic group; especially : a member of a minority group who retains the customs, language, or social views of the group

These 3 also categorise what a race is as defined in this thread.

Once you've categorised these people and your relationship with them is defined by which category they fall into are we not in the realm of racism?

The social constructs that black folk had created before meeting the racist man and racist woman are not the problem here. For the most part they were not used and applied to the people that classify themselves as white. They were not based on racism as it is understood and carried out by the people that classify themselves as white. They had nothing to do with "racism". Now, since the racist man and woman came on the map, the whole situation changed. They made such that all non-white people are subject to their domination regardless of gender, age, whatever social group they might have belonged too. etc.

Now, you are going to have me go into the question mode. What is ethnicity? What is race? What constitutes them both and why? According to who?

Take time to answer these questions because, someone already said that the words race and ethnicity are used interchangeably. I first need to be clear on what we are talking about. Like i said, in order to stop the promotion of confusion.

One of my favorite example of whites stealing shit is mathematics.

Before the invasion into Africa by Alexander the so called "Great" in the late B.C. era the Greeks had an insufficient mathematical system. The superior mathematicians were the Egyptians using a base 10 numerical system using Hieroglyphics (amazing right?), the Arabs using the Arab numeric form (currently used today) 1-9 and place holder "0" from the Babylonians.

The effective mathematical system we use today was from the colonialism of whites from Europe stealing any and everything other cultures created. The Asians had the most efficient calendar. Once that was stole from the Asians, whites used it to implemented their own (leap year included) because of the mis-timing of the cropping year.

My point is that whites global travels and "invasions" that lead to colonialism that dates as far back as the early B.C. is a prime example of white supremacy. None of this stuff was given. It was taken. Everything was taken. The implementation of white supremacy was already there.

The social constructs that black folk had created before meeting the racist man and racist woman are not the problem here. For the most part they were not used and applied to the people that classify themselves as white. They were not based on racism as it is understood and carried out by the people that classify themselves as white. They had nothing to do with "racism". Now, since the racist man and woman came on the map, the whole situation changed. They made such that all non-white people are subject to their domination regardless of gender, age, whatever social group they might have belonged too. etc.

Now, you are going to have me go into the question mode. What is ethnicity? What is race? What constitutes them both and why? According to who?

Take time to answer these questions because, someone already said that the words race and ethnicity are used interchangeably. I first need to be clear on what we are talking about. Like i said, in order to stop the promotion of confusion.

I don't think it matters.
People don't really complain about labelled a particular race per se, it's the treatment of them because of the race they are labelled that troubles them.
Race in it's self is a social construct used to lump people into groups based on physical attributes.
We have decided that colour is a major factor in determining differences in race, but as science has advanced we've discovered that this is a poor method differentiating between humans.It has been established that the some Africans have more in common genetically with Europeans than they do with other Africans.

It appears to me that you're getting hung up on your definition of racism.
If you are denied civil rights, ability to provide for your family, access to advance yourself in society,what difference to you does it matter if it is a white man that does it or if it's a china man or any other kind of man.
All that matters is that because of a definition of who and what you are, you are denied liberties and opportunities that had you been classified other would be open to you.

The disease that we are calling racism is not the classification it's the classification and the behavior towards such people. Both the classifications of groups of people and mistreatment of them because of their classification occurs globally and not just by white people, white people have just been very efficient at it.
