A lot of people are saying Lux put out a very good project.
I listened to it.
Some of the songs I've actually had on repeat, and some of 'em sound like throw-aways production wise.
But, thats just me.
Lux is starting to get up on age, tho'.
If dude doesn't do something superb on whatever his next project will be, it may be too late.
Hip hop is a young man's game, unless you became huge when you were young. Even then, there is a limit.
Its not really likely you will 'blow up' from out of the underground in your late-30s.
Excelsior, yes LUX has some good songs and yes age is catching up. if only he had some hits under his belt to sustain his career even longer. battle rap will give him a few more years if he stay sharp and relevant and has classic matchups.
this is why i respect DNA cause he is a rare breed able to freestyle effortlessly. yeh he has some lossses but he is not scared to challenge opponents and perform in any arena.he is also not trying to be something he is not

That Gutta/gjonah battle was a good look, probably the best back n forth all Summer Madness weekend.
Very debatable either way. However I can sit through another 3 rounds from Gutta but that voice that Gjonah was making when he raps made me cringe a little. He is tap dancing on the line of being annoying with that. His bars were hard hitting though!

Man this shit got me hype as fuck. DNA talking some noise but he ain't lying either, but DNA just came off of three straight losses so he gotta come through or he's done in my book.
DNA has a gambling problem, stay getting lit off that dark liquor and his freestyles are overrated. If I was a betting man I'd put my bread on the young bull Chess. However, Chess weakness is if the crowd ain't giving his bars any extra energy he loses steam. He still gets nervous too. Could be a classic tho.
