American televangelist Kenneth Copeland says stay out of his fucking pockets

Crefflo I started to distrust, but I don't remember why. I know one time he had a message series, I wish I could remember the name of it, that was really good. He seemed shook delivering it tho, like the fear of God had been put into for some reason. Like God was dealing with him for his BS and he better come correct.
For me, I could never get past the fact that his last name is Dollar. Even if that was legit his name, he still sounded like he was some second rate bad guy from a third rate TV show.

I never knew anyone with first name like Creflo, but that's just me petty.

I'm not even saying that it's absolutely wrong to be a little prosperous as you lead the church. But at some point, you have to be a little practical and look at how this stuff affects your public image. If you actually care about stuff like that, which I doubt a lot of these people do.

Hopefully, no one is wondering how Trump became president after watching this. These phonies know how to plant the fear see and harvest off of poor folk's gullibility. If you're stupid enough to believe that these are the men and women who will get you into heaven, well....good luck. Cuz on that day, they'll be standing right next to you...

Kenneth used to be great several years ago but he started going off the deep end. He started rambling so much I couldn't watch him. It's been well over 15 years since I've seen his program.

I don't watch church programs as much as I used to as my hours have changed. I used to watch when I got up for work in the mornings. I always liked Joyce, Jesse D and Joseph prince tho. On the weekends Fred Price and Tony Evans or this one local pastor. Jesse took heat for having a plane also. I know there are members here who had personal stories about Fred Price, said he pressured family to give their property upon death, but his messages have always been on point. I'd like to get his entire series on racism. His son always seemed a bit shady and had to step down after an affair if I recall correctly. He always seemed like he was playing church, and not invested in being a pastor.

Re: Crefflo and Fred Price Jr, and people who grow up in church generally, I think sometimes people become so used to God's power they don't take it seriously and lose respect after receiving grace and forgiveness. They start to think there are no consequences to their actions. Fred Jr also grew up as the son of a wealthy pastor so that's almost like being a celebrity. I'm sure he was dealing with girls and women have been slinging cookies at him from a very young age. That stuff goes to your head.

You trusted a guy named Creflo Dollar?

Say what y’all want
That old CAC paid the college tuition for 2 (Black) peeps in my church in the 90s
Our pastor was cliqued up with him and his buddies. Parlayed that into a new church in Florida and TV time

She wanted to get the fuck out of there when he started to pray for her. I gotta remember that.

Otherwise if the stupid ass sheep are dumb enough to support him I don't care. There are worse things. Give him 10% of your gross pay dumb dumbs.

The name was off putting but his messages, initially, were good and initially I believe he was sincere. Power corrupts tho. Later his vibe was off and then I read some stuff about his personal life, treatment of his daughter, that sealed the impression I had. If I don't have peace about a person or message, even if they are saying the right words, I can't get into and enjoy the message. It's rare that that warning feeling has been wrong.

Depending on the pastor, the wealth itself is not an issue. Many write and sell books, tapes etc that go worldwide beyond their congregation. TD Jakes has made movies. I've purchased books by Tony Evans, Joyce, Joseph Prince, TD Jakes, and Joel Osteen. Audio books by Joyce, the Osteens and TD Jakes. Music CDs by Jakes. Message and music cds from a local church. Messages tapes or cds from Joyce, Fred Price and Casey Treat. And I'm the free download queen.

At one time critics came at Joyce because the church was paying her a salary, even tho she was donating sales earnings to the church. If I recall correctly, she stopped taking the salary and kept the sales money so that she was getting even more money.

BTW Tony Evans has a free roku channel. I love his voice. It doesn't match his physical appearance tho.

Like the second amendment? #irony
how is the 2nd amendment a group of people? you want me to be a part of the group of people that will willingly give up one of their rights because a few people die... and because I won't join your cause or see things your way, then I'm wrong..... got it.
