How do you know I wasn't? Being homeless or living in a house has nothing to do with popping out a bunch of kids that you can't feed. Then not ever trying to better yourself. Just because you born a way doesn't mean you have to live your whole life in that situation.
yes it is still a thing....anyone can join the military , community college is free for most, and its programs to get you out of poverty.
You do know some of us been on the board for a long time and know some people backstory. You were the fat kid who had well to do parents and became a custodian after going to college. Didn’t your parents pay for your college

Bro I would of gone to the military to get out of poverty. I thought about going as an adult. Two of my best friends who came from similar backgrounds went to the military and both retired with 20 year careers. At my age I still think about the military.
Completely diff path than. So would’ve changed your life completely. If you were lucky enough to get to the military. Being poor in certain communities could’ve lead you to a life of crime, could’ve had you around evil individuals that would’ve made you prey, etc.. a man born with feet has no idea what it’s like to born without them
