Kubo wanted to end the series at the Aizen arc but the people at Shonen Jump wanted that money but you're right it was rushed because Kubo wanted to end it and the series was losing it popularity at the time.

Yeah. I'd at the very least like to see what Yhwach saw to cause him to react the way he did. Even if the ending remains the same. I want to see that future.
These editors at the manga magazines hold a lot of power. They pretty much tell the author to what they should and shouldn't do with their work.
