That's it, trust me as good as this season was the manga is topping it right now. This is the best anime series in the past couple years.

It's gonna be good but I'm worried about the pacing. For whatever reason,when Crunchyroll adapt manhwas; the pacing is horrible.
The artwork seem a little dated, I wish they used a style similar to chainsaw man and Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. Myabe we will get that later if it gets a lot of viewers.
I thought God of Highschool was off, but Tower of God didn't seem bad to me. I've never read the manhwas, but God of Highschool started to get so random that it was obvious parts were being skipped.
I'm assuming Tower of God was better received given that a second season is coming.
God of highschool came off as your generic hero just wants to fight and has a care free attitude anime.
I didn't have an issue with that. It was the confusing element about God's being reincarnated that felt like I missed something. It's been so long I don't really remember much except somehow the purpose of the tournament was to bring the God's together or use the God's powers. Either way it didn't live up to the hype. It came off like a series that really wanted to focus on fighting and the story was supposed to be secondary.
The first episode of Solo Leveling seems interesting. I'm confused about the mix of fantasy world and gaming world, but I wanted to see the next episode.
It's basically world of warcraft but in real life.
Can't say that I'm familiar with World of Warcraft.

No, but I get the general idea and I've seen other series related to role playing.
They're using the same art style of the manhwa...If,you haven't read a manhwa or watched an anime from Korea it's a lot different than anything from Japan.
The God of High School was off because Crunchyroll butchered everything, especially introducing the characters. They expected folks to know the characters while hurrying up the story at a fast pace.
The God of High School could of been great,if they have slowed down the pace and allow the audience to know the characters....imo...
Tower of God suffered the same pacing issue but it was enjoyable because it wasn't a fighting show compare to The God of High School.
It's disappointing because I thought The God of High School was slightly better than Tower of God when I read the manhwa.
I read both manhwas and couldn't believe,how Crunchyroll butchered the pacing to the both of them. Crunchyroll really fucked up The God of Hight School though.They went to A-Z but skipped B-Y with that show.
I could be mistaken, but I thought those two series were Crunchyroll's first original series. If so, that could explain the issues you are speaking on.
For me, both seemed to be focused on fighting/tournaments. One just had or presented the better story. It's kind of like comparing Kengan Ashura to Baki. Both are fighting based, but Baki ( at least the initial episodes pre Netflix) tried to tell more of a story and have you invested in the characters of the world. Based on the anime, Kengan is a fighting show that tries to sprinkle in story to move the fights if that makes sense. That's how I viewed God of Highschool.
Both are second and third manhwas adapted from South Korea. The first is Noblese.
While,Tower of God does have fighting in it. It's more story base than The God of High School. Granted,the story for the God of High School is pretty good itself.Think of it this way,Tower of God is similar to One Piece while The God of High School is like Dragon Balls (both inspired from Journey of the West). Both have fighting in them but are used similarly to their Japanese counterpart.
It probably don't make sense cuz I'm not trying to spoil the both of them but that's how I view Tower of God and The God of High School....

All,I have say that flashforward at the beginning of episode one is universally considered the best arc in the series....
I wonder if the other characters would have completed the test, would they have gotten the same abilities or was it always intended for only one person to survive.
I can't confirm the episode count for Solo Leveling. Some sources are saying 12 episodes and another is saying two cores of 12.
