If they don't get rid of all nudity as per Apple's demands they won't be allowed back into the IOS store. So they are pretty much in the same position Tapatalk was in. Nowadays I don't know anyone who uses Tapatalk and I don't even see their logo anywhere anymore.
But aren't they adopting the same policy as Instagram now? Artistic nudity is allowed on IG, just not including sexual acts.
I'm not tripping as hard as I was at first, that petition has already reached over 150k so I'm assuming some pressure from their users are gonna bring forth some kinda compromise.
Posts that I downloaded directly from IG and posted on tumblr have been flagged. They're worst than IG. They're piss poor moderation is what lead to child porn being able to fester and spread via their platform. Now the same piss poor moderation is killing off non-nude posts. It's a fucking shit show. Trump might as well be running it.

After Dec. 17th, any new explicit posts will be flagged and deleted by algorithms. Existing adult content will be set to a “private mode” and will only be visible to the original poster.
“We spent considerable time weighing the pros and cons of expression in the community that includes adult content. In doing so, it became clear that without this content we have the opportunity to create a place where more people feel comfortable expressing themselves,” Tumblr CEO Jeff D’Onofrio wrote in a blog post. “Bottom line: There are no shortage of sites on the internet that feature adult content. We will leave it to them and focus our efforts on creating the most welcoming environment possible for our community.”

Backpage gone, someone WILL replace it in due time. Good luck with that, fam. I have enough accumulated pics over the years. It's sad to see a resource gone, though, because I think the biggest losses are tumblr sites with a little bit of nudity & a lot of art. It's difficult to find good art and nudity in a decent form to be displayed.
I'm not sure this is a good thing. This could drive alot of unwanted members to BGOL also. The kind that could be feds or folks that would snitch about shit that goes on with the board.
