From what I've seen alot of these young women have drinking problems, it's part of the party lifestyle and clubs are being packed 4-5 days out of the week. I remember when Sunday night used to be a rest day after partying Friday and Saturday but these days clubs are packed on Sunday nights and with this partying comes drinking. Chicks drinking 3-4 days a week and then getting behind the wheel
Check this out, the state troopers pulled her over for DUI but they let her go because they had a emergency called, and she killed those state troopers that let her go! 
This guy here, stole his parents car and was driving drunk and killed 4 people and got 10 years probation????????

Because it's not safe for a drunk 21-year-old woman to walk or bike the streets alone after dark. That's probably even more dangerous than driving.
Depending how far you go cabs and Uber can be ridiculously expensive. How many 21-year-olds earning minimum wage or close to it are going to drop $50 to $100 to and from the bar? How many more are going to say "fuck it, it's only a half hour drive."
Can't condone what she did, but the only difference between her and me is that I never got caught before growing the fuck up.
If we're being honest this probably applies to most of us.
