AJ doesnt have the defensive skill of Fury
and with that said, fury hit the canvas twice
Exactly, you can see the difference in movement and footwork between fury and Joshua, Not even close. And like you said with all that pretty boxing all he had to do was get touched once. Ruiz looking like a baby Jabba the Hutt was able to hit him clean a few times and make it uglier than it needed to be. Joshua is and always has been a hometown fraud. Same as joe calzage.

Ruiz didn't respect the grind. Gotta work even harder and stay focused to stay on top. Dude got them straps and got lazy. He was too heavy to even move his feet and cut the ring off.
Joshua came in with a good game plan and executed it well, but I don't think that will work with Wilder. We probably wont see that fight for another two years.

man ufc has their duds too
cats lay on eachother for 5 rounds straight
Yeah there’s definitely a few but by far and in large they deliver, not to mention most ufc cards are watchable from beginning to end stacked with names and up and coming fighters. This last year alone there have been many classic fights and insane knockouts. Can’t think of too many great boxing fights I’ve seen. I’m no hater; boxing was my first love and a family tradition. But the state of things currently is stomach turning. From the announce teams to the politics it’s just all too much bs for me to keep up with. Whenever I decide to give a fight a chance I tend to be disappointed.

in all fairness, its hard to cut the ring off in such a giant ring
again i keep wondering why would team ruiz allow that
but it was probably something crooked hearns put in the first contract

Still, Wilder was outboxed by a man his size. Wilder also doesn't take a punch as well as Ruiz, so while Ruiz was able to walk through those sneaky right hands and hooks Wilder may not be able to.
