Jay keeps rising. Tone and Yvette....lol. Not so much.

So what is this building supposed to do? What revenue will it generate? Like a friend of mine told me one time everything look good until you look at the books. I've personally seen a lot of ribbon cutting ceremonies but what they don't show you is a what happens a year later and the place is shut down grass grows and the weeds takeover.

Their website seems to address a lot of those questions. It seems to be a type of wework setup with business development services also being offered.

In other words an avenue for them to get grants from local, state and federal governments and other entities that make it seem like they are doing something when they are actually not. I've seen this somewhere before.

If they don't get those grants, it will just go to some white folks that will gentrify the areas in question (and we know what the end result will be for any black folks in those areas).Hopefully, black money will benefit EVERYONE in those communities.

By welcoming black business people and future entrepreneurs to use his commercial properties, it would seem to be a win/win. What else do you think he should be doing or what aspect do see lacking in his plans?

Not trying to defend him, just trying to see what angles you are seeing that I am not.

To me he comes across as a smooth talking hustler, I hope that I’m wrong and I wish them the best and best for the people.

I wish him well.

His smokescreen looks good but something about him sends me used car salesmen vibes. At least he wasn’t like Umar, showing ol tore up dilapidated buildings and shit. What is the real investment in the community besides him getting money? East point a dive too

It's actually a place for people to start and operate a business.
A place for people who can not afford to rent offuce space elsewhere.
It's a incubator.

This is the property https://www.realtor.com/realestatea...St_Lake-Charles_LA_70601_M85875-64005#photo12 that was bought in Louisiana and subsequently sold to elixir of life, LLC. Based on the purchase and sold price 100K was made of the property. If these profit margins get duplicated enough, they have something. According to the filing they plan on raising another 50 Mil. It looks like a lot of the loans that the company hands out are people that go through them for mentorship, at the Jay Morrison Academy. Good read.

First, that’s not a good profit margin for this type of set up. Second, loaning money to amateurs will doom a syndication business. They are not serious.
