Just asking if any of yall know anyone who does this full time. I need to GTFO of South Florida but I probably won't get a job anytime soon worthwhile.

So I need to get a plan, too depressed sitting here and shit ain't getting any better I'm just getting grayed up and stressed all day.

I know alot of people struggling right now, I want to know about anyone doing this and how they survive.

And probably where they live.

Yeah you're right.
From i heard it depends on the city. I hear the market is highly saturated with way too many people dashing (supply and demand).

And i hear the clientele is trash or the restaurant is trash and have them waiting way long.

Certain places get a lot of traffic at certain times of the day, some places get great tippers, if you familiar with the area or just know consumer spending within that ecosystem than you can make some decent bread from what I hear

Chevy realized that they were making cars that were a little to durable and there in no money in that. Camary has had some reliable models. But you got to be up on cars and car care. It's not glamorous but it's something, I read Reddit and they bash it all day.

I know dudes out there living grimy.

1. Gonna check it out. The school bus said they'll call me soon and let me know about my references. It's 18 a hour for a year then I can quit and try to get into the city or move to another city and the CDL is free.

2. Been grinding handshake and zipeecruiter and sending 100 resumes to different companies all over the USA, don't have a preference where I go but my mom is old and alone so she probably can't manage by herself and she got no real family to help her so usually I said close but I'm fucked up.

3. Got a uncle in Ohio, my father said Ohio is worse that Florida just cold and dusty nutin so desperate and it's cheaper I don't care.

4. Could always go back into security guard work but I don't like these young niggas laughing at me but I'm old now so it doesn't care anymore. In the past people would laugh at me doing that shit, really fucked me up mentality especially since I tried to come up. But I can stay close to my mom if she needs .e.

5. Just keep doing whatever and hope for the best, probably gotta find a bitch to take care of me or bring 60% to the table Florida too high to realistically see it working out.

Tough times ahead.

In order to doordash you got to have a dependable car. Most people that doordash already got a dependable car and a lot of their money may be spent on up keep of the car? Do you doordash or uber drive? They make millions of cars everyday but I sometimes wonder about who they make them for. Most people that can buy a reasonable car cash already have around 15 cars. The same people that buy a house cash money alreay got around 4 or more houses.

You can double up.. do security work and door dash.. the best thing about door dash is you can choose your own hrs and work on your off days.. I had boys who had post office jobs , mta jobs, construction , etc that would work their 9-5 and than do grub hub yrs ago.. they would double up and sometimes do grub hub 2-4 hrs a night and make a couple hundred dollars a nite.. some would use that extra income to pay for their nightlife( they like clubbing, buying drinks, fucking random broads or flying out to Miami, etc) , when Covid hit they definitely was making several hundred a night after their 9-5 or b4 their 9-5

I emailed this girl 7 good jobs at 5 star hotels in Atlanta last night. One is like 45k base but you get tips too.

Jobs are out there. You need to get into a system.

Education

Insurance

I live in South Florida, I don't live in Georgia and I applied to State Farm for customer service but they moved on. My background is mostly security and shit jobs, I went back to school in 2022 and finished and got all those certs and a degree.

So yes I got to drive up to Georgia, my car is 14 years old with 166k so I'd rather get a rental first.

South Florida is dead, here are the main companies

Nova Southeastern, Broward College, Miami Dade College, UM, Memorial, Baptist Medical (Hispanic), HCA Hospital, and a few more if I can remember.

I'll get something and I'll drink a couple more beers when it gets real

Unless he gonna be in a city setting or in close proximity of his orders and where he lives than I might tell him to chill with that.. especially in bad weather or extra hot weather.. in nyc this is 1 of them places where e-bike delivery flourish..shit out here looking like China/3 world country with all them motherfuckers on bike .. also dude not the healthiest so I wouldn’t recommend him to be doing all that physical activity on a bike

Doordash can yield some good money if you deliver in the right places. I no longer have a beater car, just my lifted f150. I cant put doordash strain on my truck, plus the profit margin is just aight. If I had a beater car or something better on gas, I'd probably try a delivery here and there.
