Supposedly it was reported that the price dropped as soon as it was reported that insiders couldn't figure out how to place their sell plays on the new IPO!

:smh: Snakes...all of them..

PLTR. PLTR....

I was watching that all day Tuesday. I saw it had a price of $7.25 so I was like "Bet!" Tried to buy some but it wouldn't let me. I was hitting the Buy button every 10 minutes trying to jump on it as soon as it was available but I couldn't get any shares. Now that I think about it I probably should have been refreshing the page instead. When I checked again around 2 P.M. I was able to obtain 30 shares at about $10.80 I think. After seeing it start to drop in price I got scared & sold that shit at $9.75. I've seen too many stocks decrease in value by 50+ percent to play around :smh: .

This orange bastard trying to fuck up my call game.

I feel for everyone that has call plays on general stocks.
If premarket is any indication...it's going to be a red day.
The calls that are made once everything settles are the winning plays.

I had some put plays on $NKLA and $NIO. So far premarket i'm winning!

Get you some cheap calls on things that you know gonna bounce back. Just make sure they will have enough time if this uncertainty keeps up.

This is where i've been messing up on option plays.
Not giving myself enough time for the play to weather possible volitality.

Earlier options are generally cheaper and thus more attractive. Especially, for noob retail investors! But they're inherently a lot more risker and increase the chances for faster losses(theta decay!.

Defintley, better to spend more money on the longer expiration contracts and give yourself some breathing room.

Lesson 10,230 learned!

I cashed out of my Fundrise account last month in order to reinvest that into my brokerage, but had to wait until yesterday (the end of the quarter) for the redemption. Deposit came through this morning, just in time for this sale...

I'm gonna see where the chips fall today, do some research this weekend and put these BUYS in on [Cyber] Monday :money:

Hyliion is at $40 right now, looks like a steal to grab before webull and robinhood users can jump in. Is this a good time to jump in. While its cheap or should i wait a little longer?

Schwab locked out too at least for options. They told me they don't have the shares yet.
On TD Ameritrade, HYLN shares are available, But im worried the news of this bastard gettting Covid. The stock will tank for awhile. I dunno if i should get in now, or wait.

I'm stuck in it now. Seems like if its gonna blow it could be next week once volume comes back in. Guess it depends on how you feel about the stock potential and PT. You can always scale in and play price action next week.

im not buying shit til the end of the day, or PM on Monday
just gonna let everything drop for now,....then i'll go in.

I wish i followed this advice. Made a play earlier in the week on $UVXY and sold as soon as the market opened today for a nice profit. Then like an ass jumped the gun too quickly on SVXY and have given away 50% of my profit so far.

Yea real choppy. I ended up not doing much. Added a little to my AAPL position and closed a SPY put. Surprisingly uneventful. However, RKT and FCX both turned around and are showing strength going into next week.

BTW, This suggest that his symptoms are a little more than "minor" if he's taking an experiemental drug that hasn't been approved by the FDA as of yet.

Why not Hydroxychloroquine? UV light? Bleach up his orange ass?

This is one of those weeks folks may want to keep their money in their pockets.
As we learn more about Trump the more likely the market is going to take a dive.
What you think maybe the bottom of the dip may only be the beginning.

Tread carefully!

Not trying to time the bottom but probably won’t get into any short term plays. If anything just buy shares for long term that I’ve been waiting to go on sale. If it goes lower then I’ll buy more for the kid :dunno:

How was your experience with Fundrise? Is it worth it?

It was a good experience, no complaints. The interface is cool and they clearly show you in detail all of the active projects that your money is invested in at a given time. if you want to cash out, that's a bit of a pain in the ass.. since your money is invested in active projects, you have to put in a redemption request and wait until the end of the Quarter for approval. So I put my RR in the first week of Aug and had to wait until Oct 1 for the transfer. But once the quarter ended my money was deposited back into my bank account w/in a day. Customer service was helpful along the way too, no jerk moves involved.

It was a tough decision to pull out, but my short-term goal is to buy an investment property so I've decided to try to grow my money a little faster in my brokerage instead.

Had I not had this specific goal, I would've continued my portfolio there for sure. Once I'm a little more established and my money is longer, I would def consider FR again. Def recommend them if you want to get passively involved in RE investing. But its more of a long-term thing with them.

Personally, I'd stay mostly liquid until after the elections. If the market doesn't like the results, there will be some deep discounts on stocks to snatch up.
