Insightful.

He kept says $S reminds him of Crowdstrike a few years ago. Thats a positive. I like the fact that $S allows on-prem. Crowdstrike says that they are CMMC ready ( https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/how-crowdstrike-falcon-platform-is-positioned-for-cmmc/ ), couldn't find the same claim from SentinelOne. Neither mentioned offering GCC High.

Overall SentinelOne is new and has some growing to do. It's cheap(er), and I see it as a short term play that could morph into a long term one. I may pick up a few if it drops under $35. Until then I'll just keep an eye on them.
This one has been doing well, since we started talking about it. Too bad it never dropped to my buy area. Still waiting for one of those massive red days to revisit.

Rocket Companies (NYSE:RKT) today announced it is launching into the solar energy industry. The company will be leveraging the same technology, data and client experience that has revolutionized the mortgage, real estate and personal lending spaces to help Americans make their home more energy efficient.

U.K. considers blocking Nvidia's $40 bln takeover deal for Arm - Bloomberg News

REUTERS - 12:25 PM ET

Aug 3 (Reuters) - The UK government is considering blocking chip designer Nvidia Corp's (NVDA) $40 billion acquisition of British peer Arm Ltd on potential national security risks, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter. (https://bit.ly/3A3h9hG)

Nvidia (NVDA) said that it is working through the regulatory process with the UK government.

"We look forward to their questions and expect to resolve any issues they may have," an Nvidia (NVDA) spokesperson told Reuters. (Reporting by Chavi Mehta in Bengaluru; Editing by Maju Samuel)

Has his plays been decent recently? I use to follow him, but stopped.
He changed his tune. Instead of pushing the growth (double up) plays he is telling people to have FAANG stocks as 80% of the portfolio. He is also saying dont hold plays until 100%, because the market is up and down too much this year. Now he suggest selling at 30% or so.

Yup, they've said from the beginning that the deal was like 50/50 at best to go through .... if it ain't England, it's China cock-blocking over "national security issues"... Or Qualcomm hating... Or - of all ppl - Microsoft & Google complaining about Antitrust issues :smh:

I'm team NVDA no matter what though. To much going for them and to big a TAM for their tech..

Question for those of you who use Robinhood: When I've watched demos/screen shares on YouTube, it seems like the option orders on RH go through fast af.

How long does it take them to fill your option orders? Because they make it seem instantaneous..

Just depends when someone picks it up.

Its not always the case. A lot of times you'll need to modify your buy price.

$HOOD - My wife is out now, but she made out well. :money:

$HOOD sends meme stock vibes, but I was able to get in as well.

Yeah, I don't think it will hurt $NVDA if it doesn't go through. They'll still have an ARM license, their GPUs/AI have taken over, and they will end up making CPUs (narrow scope) next year. On the flipside, when the initial merger news was announced, $INTC and $AMD dropped by like 5% immediately. So there may be an impact there.
