I think people are giving him too much credit and there is no strategy behind it. The guy bankrupt a casino.
Agreed. I just find it interesting the “theories” people come up with to justify what he is doing.

Trying to correlate their theory with comments from Lee

Tom Lee is the new golden boy like Kathy Woods was couple years ago, we will see how long the hype last

Every paycheck, I am investing into battery materials and semi-conductors. Trying to get use to expanding my portfolio regularly. Looking to get into solar next.
There have been a lot of talk about building more nuclear power plants, do you think that will have an effect of the solar market?

Why is BTC down over the weekend after the Crypto Summit on Friday?
People expected an announcement that the US would build the Crypto or Bitcoin reserve. While a Bitcoin reserve and Crypto stockpile were announced, the initial plan is not to actually purchase any Crypto as much keep any Bitcoin that is confiscated and potentially sell any alt coins that are confiscated.

There was a clause in the executive order to potentially purchase Bitcoin, but it would need to be done at no cost to tax payers. This part would likely need congress to approve.

There was also a rumor of taxes being removed for crypto.that didn't happen.

On top of that, it's follow the fear from economic uncertainty with Trump's behavior like the traditional markets except crypto isn't closed for the weekend.

I don't think it will (at least not yet). Nuclear power is still being over priced on the general market and Georgia Power is a key example of that. They've been over charging (way beyond inflation rates) for the past 8 years, and it seems to only be increasing. Battery power options are starting to trend in a profitable direction, but lithium is still pretty bulky, expensive and has a low shelf life compared to other power sources, so I was say that solar would be a safe to partially aggressive purchase. There are actually technologies that are in the market for making Lithium more chargeable by solar platform, so it could also be seen as a future-proof purchase.

While a Bitcoin reserve and Crypto
What is a strategic reserve used for? I know the answer, but I’m asking why the United States would need a Bitcoin strategic reserve or a strategic reserve for XRP, Cardano, Solana, and Ethereum. You have 45 billion Cardano tokens and over 100 billion XRP. Chuckles… this shit is a money grab.

None of the transactions are anonymous, I dont think they will find many banks willing to cash those coins and risk getting their accounts blacklisted.
See HSBC: In 2012, HSBC Holdings (HSBC), one of the world's largest global banks, was hit with a $1.9 billion fine for, most notably, serving as a conduit for Mexican drug cartels. The penalty, which was coupled with $665 million in civil penalties, exposed severe problems with the bank's compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) controls. It ranks among the most significant fines ever imposed on a bank for breaking U.S. law.

Some Banks are willing to risk and already have risked it all.

Also from the article- Elliptic's analysis tallies with ByBit, which says that 20% of the funds have now "gone dark", meaning it is unlikely to ever be recovered. $300M. Crypto exchange eXch is being accused by ByBit and others of not stopping the criminals cashing out. More than $90m has been successfully funnelled through this exchange. But over email the elusive owner of eXch - Johann Roberts - disputed that.

Anyone noticing more Audis on the road again? Tesla took their customers but now it looks like they are making a comeback. At least in S. Florida.

Sounds shortsighted, but im not going to disagree with it being a money grab. Imagine if they same mindset was made for the internet. Let's not act like people hsve always thought highly of the internet or personal computers in general.

Right now, the US is at the top because of the US dollar and military. Regardless of the currency, it only has value because we all agree it does. Some countries fiat isn't worth printing. Now imagine a world where Bitcoin is more respected than the US dollar. Who knows how likely that is to happen. In the event it does, do you want to have enough on hand to be competitive or be arrogant and believe the US dollar will always be the preferred currency.

Bitcoin and alt coins serve different purposes. Just because we have gold doesn't mean no one wants silver. Most countries have their own currency.

For the record, im not one of these crypto people who believes Bitcoin will take over. I just willing to take a risk that has so far benefited my family. The day it doesn't i don't particularly care. I'll just move on to the next investment.
