Science and faith arguing each other is like a dog arguing with an airplane! How and why did these two find each other to have this argument?!?!?!

The two are not mutually exclusive to one another. Any scientist that entertains religious attacks is not someone I want giving me facts. And any person of the faith that entertains attacks from atheists is not a person that I want leading me on my religious journey.

Who told you science and culture/ the Bible were not compatible? Maybe wester science as we misunderstand it isn’t but science just means knowledge that’s all

What dude did was give an explanation of his faith.

The fact remains that there is no evidence of the existence of a said being that is beyond time, space and matter. Moreover, since there is no evidence of this existence, there is also no evidence that this being would have an interest in affecting time, space or matter - including and especially one group of material beings of its creation and thus favoring them over others. (believers over non-believers). Not only that, but there is also no evidence that there would have ever been any communication with a being of such magnitude with very specific individuals belonging to the specific matter of its creation. (How do you know that turtles or plants or some other beings on other planets aren't God's chosen ones?)

Agnostics tend to believe that the lack of said evidence does not dismiss the possibility of the existence of such a being.

Athiests believe that since there is no reasonable evidence, its all bullshit.

The argument continues...

just say theres no evidence that you would consider valid.

Neil deGrass Tyson says it best: "Its not a lack of evidence, I remain unconvinced."

I'm not an atheist. I'm more agnostic than anything. I don't know and its above my pay grade, so to speak.
Do you talk to microbes and try to grant their wishes if they believe in you?
See my point?

Like Fred G. Sanford used to say: "I don't know and I don't give a damn."

I dont talk to microbes because im not a god. :dunno:

But everyone has to agree that DNA is intelligent design.

You don’t know. And you don’t care.

Those 2 statements you are admitting to intentionally being willfully ignorant. You choose to remain ignorant then the discussion ain’t for you at all.

Based on whose definition of intelligence? Intelligence is subjective. 100,000 years ago the wheel would have been considered intelligent. 100,000 years from now our current technology probably won't be.

Who are you to say? On what authority do you have to dictate what discussions are for whom? You think yourself to be better than me?
This is the ENTIRE problem with religion. The false sense of superiority of it all.

You speak of willful ignorance as if its a bad thing. I am one person. I choose not to dedicate my life to a set of philosophies based on old texts that have been re-interpreted and re-written century after century by many writers.
There are lots of things that I am ignorant of, and so are you. We choose or own pathways to specific knowledge of our own interests.

I like the one liner: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This phrase, in some form or another, spans across many religions, cultures and languages. It seems reasonable enough to me to have a basis of basic human operation.

The only thing that is true is whatever YOU decide to believe.

Faith & religion is not one size fits all. It's like me arguing with you about why I think Kevin Hart is funny. I can try to give many reasons as to why you should be laughing, but you like Dave Chapelles jokes better and dont think Kevin Hart is funny.

Everyone experiences reality different.

The meat of religion is TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WISH TO BE TREATED. All the extra rules and specifications is just the fat.

NOBODY KNOWS anything for sure. If you believe it, then it is true................to you.

You have faith cause there is no evidence. I can say all I want that I would die for my kids. Until that situation happens they have to have faith that I wouldn't puss out the minute that situation occurs.

true, but sometimes faith becomes knowledge. i know what i'll do for my kids cause ive been there.

That's not faith its biology, we are genetically predisposed to want to protect our kids especially babies. Faith is what the white man used to enslave our people.

But then that is no longer faith. Knowledge or fact isn't what faith is based on. By the time my knowledge of my faith is proven, I can't give these facts to others.

You're talking from MY perspective. It is biology for me to WANT TO die for my children. If you read my post...seeing as you quoted it, let me tell you again: "Until that situation happens they have to have faith..." From their perspective they have no evidence that I would until I do, then if I die I can't prove that fact again.

Religion is pure fiction, just the The Constitution. A white jew the darkest of that region, and some cacs who stole land saying all people are created equal after they took their shit and made us slaves. If God is looking down on anything, who lets the likes of a Hilter, pedo priests, Jim Jone’s and Trump happen? What other signs does he need? 911, was he asleep? All these missing children; that video of those Pakis group raping and forming a baracade? You’ll never convince of any religious aspect other than it’s a shield for the weak, foolish and bigoted.

They better pray they been behaving themselves because no one is risking their lives for bad ass kids

Free Will! I get that free will is like the catch all to your ?uestion like gravity is to flat earthers. But if people have free will and GOD is going to intervene every time a jackass is about to do some bullshyt, then what is the point of free will? My belief is that the human race is of the age that GOD is like: "I can't with you motherfcukers anymore! If you can't love one another you're on your own for now." If your kid keeps playing with Tide pods as a parent you try to protect them from themself. If your 30 year old child is still fcuking around still trying to eat Tide pods...you reserve yourself that eventually that kid is gonna fcuk himself.

God let R. Kelly run amuck! LMAO! Nice try though. Cac with a dungeon under his house with missing kids down there and god is up there with the shoulderist of shrugs due to free will?

atheists have low intelligence. how can a lack of evidence means something doesn't exist? that is the most idiotic belief ever.
I would like to think most scientists are agnostic by default of their profession. That's like saying there's no other life in the universe because I haven't seen them.

faith becoming knowledge is no less faith than it was to begin with. it becomes the bedrock that your practicing faith is built on.
Eh, on that we disagree.

I look at it like if I make Pepsi out of water, it's no longer water. You would probably make the argument that its bedrock is still water, but I can't be diabetic and tell my doctor that I have been drinking water, but I am drinking nothing but Pepsi. That is how different faith to fact/knowledge is...to me. Water to Pepsi is faith to fact/knowledge.

You're describing a transactional relationship. I worship you and you don't let bad things happen to me...that sounds more like prostitution than worship. Futurama (of all places) has some pretty good episodes on "GOD". You intervene too much people become dependent on you, you don't do enough and they lose hope.

Look I ain't trying to convert you or anything, I am just trying to explain my beliefs.
