Connect Atlanta sounds suspect, these assholes will abuse it. If they could go to social media to indict them special Ed kids on RICO charges best believe they will abuse access to ring devices.

Agreed but there's nothing to see in my case. It's only pointed at the door across the hall. So unless I shoot somebody in the hallway and drag them inside I have nothing to be worried about lol.

I also used to have a sign on my door that said I have dogs and guns in this house. It had pictures of guns for those that can't read.

HOA made me take it down like it was bringing down the property value . I'm damn sure it made some fools keep it moving rather than even think about testing this door.
So you were informing robbers/home invaders to bring peanut butter, a squeaky toy, and heavy artillery.

Correct in your case. My security cameras are for my home protection only. Not for Connect Atlanta to snoop on my neighbors or me talking about some outta pocket shit I did in the past. Just something to think about before you give them access.

Nowhere is safe in ATL
The only other place you can say that is maybe LA and Houston
In any other mid to major sized city, you’re safe living in an expensive area
In the ATL, you’re a potential victim even if you’re in a damn mansion
ATL is a shithole filled with lowlives.
you're particularly talm bout ATL metro right, strictly Fulton County?

The suburbs will get less safe over time. Similar to what happened in Clayton County. People aren't going to be able to afford to live in the city before long. Certain areas will be safe simply due to the amount it cost to live there and the fact that there's no public transportation. All of the hood areas in the city are gentrifying... they're not going to have a choice but to go further out unless they actually own already. Renting? May want to start getting familiar with places like Carrollton and Newnan.

You're saying some of the same age old myths that made ATL the unorganized urban sprawl you see today.

Public transportation does NOT equal more crime. Gwinnett and Cobb have spouted that racist garbage for decades. Poor Fulton and DeKalb residents are not taking MARTA in large part to Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, committing crimes and getting back on MARTA going home.

They ARE overwhelmingly using it to get to those corporate and service jobs in those areas though.

A line to Cumberland and to Gwinnett Mall would have been less cars on the road and more structured growth. Urban planning in ATL failed due to racists and corrupt officials running those counties.

There was a plan to bring MARTA into Cobb all the way to KSU but county govt officials were trying to acquire the land and sell it to MARTA to cash in. It was discovered and the plan was shelved.

And those areas of the city that one would think are safer due to being more expensive (Buckhead, Midtown etc) are the ones seeing more violent crime...cause that's where the money and soft targets are.

The white folk left Clayco and went further South to Fayette County and Newnan. Then Blacks followed suit.

People forget about the south side. Remember there's Eagles Landing, Stockbridge, Henry County, Morrow, Mt Zion etc. When my wife retires from military more than likely we'll settle in Peachtree City or EL
