He's certainly up there. Biggest thing with him is his injury history and the fact the GM has failed to put a competent team around him overall. Ohtani simply wasn't gonna cut it. Angels relievers have been awful in his tenure. You need a functioning bullpen to be successful. Starting pitching hasn't been as bad, but not good at all either.
So we not placing ANY blame on Trout?
Cause we gotta do that with a LOT of "great" players who never panned out to then.
He's a career. 299 hitter with 378 HR's and 954 RBI's and 212 stolen bases. I'd say he's far from blame for the Angels struggles.
