Look Snyder is a good director...you can't take away Watchmen.
That was film - even MORE so than Avengers Thor Hulk Ant Man Black Panther etc...was the one you thought you would NEVER EVER EVER see on the big screen
and damn it if he didn't deliver.
The issue is that seems to be the ONLY palette he knows how to work with. (and he is cvery good at it and every director has their own distinctive style and vision)
but EVERYTHING can''t be dark for dark sake.
Especially if your doing it JUST to be the opposite of Marvel.
I do believe that each studio should have a TONE and COLOR but that isn't ALWAYS necessary.
Guardians doesn't LOOK like Avengers...but Marvel has established a TONE & COLOR.
Synder just isn't the guy you give the keys too...but hell when he is behind the wheel we gonna have fun
but we need someone telling him put on your seat-belt slowdown and stop there is a deer in the road doesn't the GPS voice sound like your mom?
You need someone experienced and able to delegate and control BIG egos and create a TEAM...not a actual director or writer but someone who UNDERSTANDS them.
So to be honest I am not so sure Affleck should be in charge either.
BUT I think he should be given a stand alone Batman flick...and based of THAT we see where it goes.
the division between TV and movies sis a BIG mistake
They need to start slow...
I think Wonder woman (which is funny because of how they treat her as a second class hero) is gonna save the day. I am not a big fan of the actress but I think she got this.
They need to just do the Supermax script...and give Anell the money and do a big screen movie TV show. And you know what? Let the Berlanti crew take the lead, it would be like they did with X Files.
He is locked in Iron Heights...all hell breaks lose and there you go. He can introduce a few more minor league characters.
And do that Booster Gold movie...and make it look BRIGHT and COLORFUL and FUNNY and filled with ACTION so the damn audience can smile for once. So you introduce time travel and alternate dimensions to the MOVIE universe.
Don't be afraid of the light, DC.
then do that Green Lantern movie over and introduce John Stewart and the corps...that will be your Guardians meet Saving Private Ryan.
Do the Flash movie with BOTH Flashes...TV and movie versions.
Do your Aquaman make it like a damn Conan meets 300 in the water...and you better have Black Manta.
And THEN do the Justice League...with George Miller directing
ending with the TV universe meeting the movie universe...
crisis on Infinite Earths.
there you go.
