I grew up listening to Spice 1 in NC. NC was fucking wit Spice even before he wore the Tarheel jersey on his album cover. 187 He Wrote is my personal favorite of his. A few of his best cuts...

Spice defines an era...his music aleays brings me back.
Man as a nigga from the south, Atlanta to be exact, we used to bump the shit outta that first and second Spice 1 albums. That Welcome to the Ghetto is one of the hardest songs ever made. That west coast was tricky. It's some classic albums that really did not get the recognition they deserved. I will put Spice 1 first album, Above the Law first album, CMW Music to Driveby, and DOC No one can do it better, up against anybody shit, and I do mean anybody.

Another one that y'all Spice 1 fans may or may not have heard. When I was on board the Estocin FFG-15, a dude from Cali came on board. He used to play this song all the time. He was shocked that I knew so much about Spice 1 being that I was from Ohio
