But the point isn't whether they needed to it was consistency. These aren't pro's if they're pro's then I'm ok with being inconsistent.
In college if you calling timeouts and getting into sets they're looking to that and then they were lucky to get good shots imo

That man coached one hell of a game man. He was shot way from winning and loss on a last second shot against the best team in the county.

Damn..UCLA deserves a whole lotta respect..I been watching them all year(highlights only) and I didn't know they were doggs like that..damn they had heart in the tournament..didn't know Juzang was good like that..but he was balling all tourney along with Jaques..I like their guards too..they setup the play with very little turnovers..homie with the locs was solid..he caused a key turnover with his defense at some point in the game when they needed it too..if there's any team that deserves an upset win..it's UCLA for sure..damn they played at the highest level as any team that would win it all..keep y'all head up..they really played at a super high level..fuc'd up that it's over..a fuc'n last second shot..man...

you can revisionist what happened after I typed what I said. When I typed it all of the things you said about this coach wasn't true.
When I typed it he had called 3 time outs in a row and then decided to roll with the punches on the biggest possession with a chance to win and because of that the play resulted in a CHARGE of all things and went to OT.
Yeah is was. Now can they make history. Many title runs require a bit of luck and they got that tonight
Coach Cronin had the perfect plan and the team played a damn near perfect game but the more talented team prevailed at the end.
Props to UCLA for the effort and execution and Gonzaga for showing they could handle adversity. They should win against Baylor Monday night easier than they did against UCLA tonight.

That last possession was fucked up. It looked like the players were expecting a TO to be called. They got the rebound with plenty of time left but they didn't get into their set until only a few seconds were left. And it looked rushed.
