wasn't Pornstar India part of a 90's girl group?
Yes she was. I don't remember the name of the group though.
More forgotten girls groups of the 90's

Gyrl (Aaliyah look alike on deck, and Mila J before her unsuccessful solo career)

Yeah all 3 of them were fine particularly Mila J's older sister. Too bad they couldn't sing. Considering Mila J, her sister that's in this group, and their other sister Jhene Aiko I need an invite to their next family reunion.

Out of the groups listed I preferred Jade

SWV easily

But some of these groups should have had a lot better and longer careers

Brownstone, Zhane, Changing Faces

i don't know nor care.

i've hated popular r&b music since 1990.

ALL of the girl groups from the 50', 60's, 70's and 80's totally shit on those hoes from the 90's and currently.

But yet in still you came in this topic to complain grandpa :smh:

Go listen to The Supremes and try not to have a heart attack

Sub Question: Which group had the better looking members?:D

Jade and Kut Klose win by default

Most of the other groups named were vocally better than TLC.

TLC was like female Bell Biv Devoe...without the Bell.

A couple of points...

1. SWV cannot be considered 2nd Tier.
2. Total was probably the total marketing package with the most support from an industry perspective (meaning they had big people behind them and were probably the most primed to succeed) but Brownstone was in my opinion the most talented of the 2nd Tier groups.
Explain why you feel this way..in detail when you say SWV cannot be considered 2nd Tier

702, SWV & Zhane weren't second tier they just had zero crossover appeal. Blackgirl, Changing Faces, and Brownstone were slept on hard

Lets go 3rd tier....The Gyrlz I enjoyed for a week or two

Brownstone got my vote....Never figured out why they didn't have a longer shelf-life. SWV was just meh IMHO...nothing special whatsoever. The others groups had some eye candy here and there, but as groups they're mostly forgettable...until you hear one of their moderate hits on satellite radio in the middle of the night.

Damn man. I can't explain it. Hearing these songs and when that nostalgia hits you....heart start beating fast and there 's a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. Shit just takes you back. Got a good mind to call my old flame......but then I remember she's married with children and shit.

I don't know if I agree with SWV being second tier. I paid money for SWV, TLC and En Vogue cds. Everyone else was either not in their prime in the 90's or one hit wonders IMO.

I thought Brownstone had a lot of potential. I remember them being very poised and mature in interviews, they were not young chicks like a lot of these groups were. which is probably why they had trouble staying together as a group
