Yes. People want to see Namor, they want to see how Chadwicks death is addressed, that chic Michaela Cole is in it (not sure how much) but she has a huge following in the UK and gained a lot of fans with that HBO show.

This is me trying to think different because I have the same questions and hopes about how well this movie will do compared to the first BP.
First BP was a sleeping giant that people were excited for but left thinking WTF did I just see! but in a good way. BP1 could easily be removed from the context of Marvel as its own thing. Wakanda Forever isn’t going to have the same shock but it will have the same awe inspiring factor. After all, isn’t this made by the same group that was in BP1 so how would it not be as good? Shit, it could in fact be better. This series has enough “ENOUGH” that it is more constrained by Marvel and fans to stick to certain scripts and storylines instead of building a movie franchise on a families lineage. You can’t tell me that at least 3 Bond-Taken-Jack Ryan-Bourne movies couldn’t be done with Micheal B. Jordon’s Killmonger before he went full dark side or fuck it, go ahead and play the Star Wars Annekin to Vader transition angle. That would be a banger of a series in of itself and full of DEEP history and knowledge.

Chadwick is the actor. T'Challa is the role/character. Not the same person.
From the things Chadwick said about supporting black actors, why do so many folks think he'd want the role to die with him as opposed to letting another brother get the role/bag?
It would have been in poor taste to recast the role with someone else so soon.
Many of the recasters have said, it didn't have to be an immediate recast, but having the death of T'Challa be the only option is lazy as fuck and ridiculous. He could've been in space overseeing the Wakandan Galactic Defense systems or retired and living as a civilian with Nakia. Oh, and monetizing Chadwick's death for the film when his memorial services were available online is fuckery.
Dawg...who even said that da character of T'Challa was 100% dead??? Folks are steadily making A LOT of assumptions about a movie that has yet to be released.

The momentum for the film was already in motion so they had to continue with the film. Plus, the film honors Chadwick so it wasn't lazy; it was heart-felt and cathartic.
It is interesting. Imagine "Native Americans" not knowing they aren't really Native Americans but hybrids from the original Native Americans.
