Campbell Brown and Steven May of The Gold Coast Suns reportedly got into a fight over a Rihanna autograph outside Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles.
AFL's Gold Coast Suns players Campbell Brown and Steven May were in Los Angeles after training in Arizona for two weeks and enjoyed some downtime at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood. They were eventually asked to exit the hotspot as Rihanna and her camp were arriving to party after her show.
May reportedly tried to push his way back into the bar to get the pop star's autograph when another Aussie pro athlete, Hawthorn's Josh Gibson, tried to stop him.
May supposedly exchanged harsh words with Gibson before his own teammate, Brown, got involved and punched him in the face, cracking his jaw.
Other outlets report the disagreement ensued because of a restaurant bill.
Regardless of what caused the fight, Brown may now face severe sanctions, which could include the end of his professional career.
