How the fuck is Londo driver of the day? He fucked by not listening to his team. He doesnt deserve shit.
Thinking the voting closed before the last two laps so they went with the final results? Maybe they should had went with second most votes, who knows how F1 thinks.

I do. It's a popularity contest with DOTD. BUT, they are very aware most people don't like Lewis for 3 reasons: 1) he's Black; 2) he stood tall against racism, for BLM and the black people murdered by cops, 3) he's tied and has a very good chance to break their white god -cheatermacher's WDC record.

But F1 is all about the money and they can't afford to alienate a big chunk of their fanbase. They are salivating over the money here in the US. They get plenty of kale from those arab oil camelfuckers but nobody wants to go to the goddamned desert to see a race. The US has over 350 million people with mad easy access to mass transportation.

Bottom line, yeah, the DOTD stats are manipulated, like everything else (think: the totally focused on Merc rules changes this season).

Norris team failed him, they should had called him in for intermediates soon as Mercedes pitted.

Did you not hear Norris telling his team to shutup and No! Norris fucked up and the media is babying the fuck out of him talking about how they feel bad for him :hmm:

Even Hamilton ignored his team at first but eventually listened and went to the pit.

Norris is too wet behind the ears not to listen to orders. The team failed to establish trust they have the weather forecast at hand, if you can't convince your driver he need to pit because we're mins away from inches of water on the track and slicks are not going to work, then the whole team is lost regardless of the driver's arrogance it's on the team and management to correct that.

Yeah, I will agree that the team should have been more forceful and convincing with Norris when calling him in.... sometimes drivers override the team and carry on to their benefit. I've seem Hamilton do it a few time and still go on to win races... but I've never seen it done when the issue is about forthcoming rain and a wet track.... to not obey team orders when they have all the data regarding weather is just stupid.... I wouldn't be surprised if behind the scenes Norris' team reprimand and fine him... his stupid stubbornness caused them a victory and championship points.

If you look at the last couple races how other drivers fight tooth and nail before they let Hamilton pass yet Bottas basically moves out the way and let Max pass  .
Never finished my comment thought it was removed. Not only Bottas, Perez qualified 9th and finished 9th while Max finished 2nd. Talkin about taken a knee.

As much as I dislike Max, from last to second is some great driving. He should have got it.
True! …but don’t forget he got a new power unit. & I’m sure Bottas isn’t the only driver laying on their back when they see Max coming up from the rear. & he wasn’t looking @ a podium finish until the rain hit. He was holding down that 6 or 7 position for a while. Impressive nonetheless tho…..with his bitchass…

Lewis Hamilton will take a 10-place grid penalty for Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix.

The seven-time world champion is likely to lose his slender Championship lead after Mercedes fitted his car with a new internal combustion engine.

The decision to take a fourth engine, one more than is permitted over the course of a season, was taken before Friday's free practice session at Istanbul Park and is no doubt a tactical ploy by Mercedes to prevent potential car problems at the tail-end of the season.

However, as the 36-year-old has taken only one power-unit component, he escapes a full grid drop and can be 11th at best when he takes to the start-line on Sunday.

Despite notching a landmark 100th F1 career win at last month's Russian Grand Prix, Hamilton leads title rival Max Verstappen by just two points after the Red Bull driver defied his own penalty in Sochi.

Starting at the back of the grid after opting to take his fourth engine of the campaign, the Dutch driver secured second place after a thrilling finale, with Red Bull boss Christian Horner later claiming the podium finish felt "like a victory" for the 24-year-old.

Verstappen now seems to have a golden opportunity to regain the ascendancy in Turkey, and the development comes despite comments from Hamilton on Thursday where the British driver suggested an engine change was not necessary.

Lewis Hamilton fastest but Valtteri Bottas on Turkish Grand Prix pole after penalty.

Lewis Hamilton qualified fastest for the Turkish Grand Prix but will start the race 11th after a 10-place grid penalty for breaking engine rules.

The Mercedes driver beat team-mate Valtteri Bottas by 0.13 seconds and the Finn inherits pole position ahead of Hamilton's title rival Max Verstappen.
Verstappen starts the race two points behind Hamilton in the championship.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was fourth fastest ahead of Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly and Alpine's Fernando Alonso.
Mercedes achieved the perfect result in the circumstances, with both drivers in the best possible position for the start of the race.

Bottas was fastest on the first runs in final qualifying, pipping Hamilton by just 0.022secs, but the Briton went out early for his second run and managed to string together a lap good enough to leapfrog his team-mate.

Bottas appeared to be on course to reclaim the fastest lap, but fell away in the final three corners and just missed out, with his second lap falling just 0.073secs short of his first effort.

The Finn's role in the race will be to win, and prevent Verstappen scoring as many points as possible.

"The last lap I missed a bit in the last sector and started to pick up some understeer," Bottas said. "Lewis is in the best place and I am on pole. I will focus on my own race tomorrow. Try to keep up a good pace."

Opening lap I'm thinking it's going to be a Leclerc and Verstappen battle which is going to give Bottas a opening to pull ahead, Hamilton going to charge up the field only to be held off for a few lapse by Alonso. It should be good show tomorrow.
