Since you had some free time this summer, you consider enrolling in a screenwriters workshop at the New York Film Academy.
About 3 weeks ago you decided to take the free tour to provide you with some idea of what the classes would be like. In addition, several people were there who had interests in acting, directing, etc.
While you were there you notice "Shi."
She was very attentive as the tour guide (one of the instructors) was explaining things, but you noticed she seemed a bit unsure of a few things.
Turns out Shi has been living here for about a year and a half and is orginally from Japan. She explains to you that her English is not very good, and was reluctant to ask the tour guide too many questions because some Americans have made fun of her in the past.
You continue to talk after the tour and invited her to lunch. Over lunch she seems really excited about the classes and ask you if you could help her with her English?
You agree to her request, but will you be able to stay focused on helping her with her English?
