It's strange, but you've actually only known one person that took comfort in the belief that they were going to Hell, and that was your Great Grandmother. You never got around to asking her why, but she held strong to this belief.
The other day you went to the grocery store and ran into Anna. You and Anna grew up together and she's always been a good friend. In the process of "catching up," she was telling you about her job, marriage, children and how her baby sister Candy had moved in with her.
Candy was the baby girl, and probably the shyness member of the Hernandez family. She was the little chubby girl with the pretty face that never bothered anybody. You took a special interest in being protective of Candy because you grew up in a "den of wolves," and didn't want to see her fall prey to some of the rapscallions or young harlots in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, you moved out of the city for awhile and 2 kids, and an abusive husband later, now stood Candy seeking refuge at her sister's house.
Nevertheless, you wanted to see how your former chess partner was doing so you followed Anna home.
Upon entering the apartment Anna told Candy that she had a guest and that she should put something on. Apparently, that fell on deaf ears.
Upon seeing you Candy ran over and gave you a big hug and kiss on the cheek. It took a few minutes because you were having some "wicked thoughts" about Candy at that moment.
