Nevertheless, as you were laying down with the lights out you heard someone come into the office and you assumed it was Glenn. However, you started hearing female voices or maybe it was just one female in the bathroom.
You got up to investigate and saw this young lady...
She obviously had been drinking and came in the bathroom in Glenn's office because of the long lines of people waiting to use the other bathrooms.
She then practically begged you now not to tell Glenn and would do anything to buy your silence.

This is Caroline and she works in the same department as you. Normally, you exchange pleasantries, but you never really had a conversation with her that wasn't work related.
That was until last week when you notice she seemed a bit sad. You asked her of she was okay, and she explained that she recently broke up with her boyfriend.

It took a minute to register for me because I am thinking maybe he knew something personal about her that might cause me harm?
Then I realized he was talking to me like he was "George Wallace the Governor of Alabama " during the 1960s.
It wasn't like she was going to give this "cadaverous looking Mf" the time of day, but he was on that: How dare that lovely white woman appear to be laughing and smiling in the company of a Negro.
