Madden was the best, the holiday turducken was pure comedy. The All Madden Team was also entertaining. Overall he was a good watch.
I think before Jon Gruden got exposed, he did a great job. I thought he was entertaining. He really fucked up when he went back to coaching.
Right now Tony Romo is a good listen, just comes across as a good dude.
True but Gruden was never LOVED like that and messed up his legacy going back to coaching and even before that a whole lot of people said PUBLICLY he was a bad guy.
Romo is damn good but also doesn't have that universal love and I think all the hype over his salary messed with his accessibility and he hasn't done it long enough. And he still has room to improve
I don't think there will EVER be another close to Madden...
Unless someone like Amazon gets a football package and carefully grooms someone's for years to be THAT voic of the NFL.
