I've never been into battling, Im big on breeding for shinies with perfect IVs and shiny hunting, trying to complete a living shiny dex.

This last game is the first time I've actually paid any attention to battling at all but still don't do any of it(feels like dog fighting to me lol) I've just been learning strategies and things of that nature but still don't care about it. that's what I love about pokemon, It's just like the anime you got different people concentrating on different aspects of Pokemon training and what that means.

I'm a real hardcore console gamer since childhood, I fuck with Nintendo so do several other hardcore gamers in my circle. there's entire forums dedicated to Nintendo where adult gamers talk Nintendo, entire YouTube channels aimed at adults dedicated to Nintendo, several sub reddits with giant sub counts ECT, None of that is for little kids lol you're not into Nintendo and like I mentioned before, that's okay. But that doesn't make your opinions fact. Nintendo has a huge adult fanbase, games like animal crossing primarily have an adult fanbase believe it or not, Metroid dread, donkey Kong tropic freeze and other hard platformers aren't exactly aimed at kids with the high difficulty levels.

Nintendo has 3 top 20 selling games in the last year of it's life while everyone has been talking about and waiting for the next switch and while competing against next Gen consoles is impressive, not to mention that Nintendo doesn't share digital sales numbers.(I'm fully digital and know quite a people who are as well, the numbers are only going up for digital only gamers) Not only that but most of the top ten are multi platform games except for spiderman and tears of the kingdom.

We didn’t like all that kiddie shit super Nintendo was pushing out. Only a few people had Super Nintendo and it was rarely ever played when we got together for vidgame battles. But Nintendo stuck to their guns and decades later held a cult following and found a new fanbase specifically targeting a specific audience. Give them props for looking at the long game. But it’s still team genesis over Super Nintendo over here lmaoooo.. it’s bad that Sega didn’t get to capitalize longer especially with the sports genre it was over after Dreamcast

This is crazy. There was a time, no real console gamer could even claim to be a "real console gamer" unless they were fucking with Nintendo.

I fucks with every console, because I'm about games, not the boxes they run on. Nintendo's first party games are family friendly (and generally, their third party games can be just as brutal as any other console) - but those first party games are still some of the best playing, most fun to play, best conceived games created.
Microsoft and Sony have absolutely earned their place in gaming history, and I'd be hard pressed to choose one console if I HAD to. Fortunately, I don't have to choose, and can enjoy them all. And I do.

these companies got us messed up, quoting sales figures, quarterly earnings and balance sheets to each other like we are getting dividend checks.
I'm just in it for the games, and whether they are fun or not and imo, that's all that should matter. I get that "fun" means different things to different people, but I can't imagine a gaming life where nintendo games weren't part of it.

Mattel over the last few years started releasing He-Man figures (updated without the rubber band leg joints) with better articulation. I actually started collecting a few til I found myself spending too much time and money on them. I loved the way how in the early Joe Montana football would zoom in on passing plays. I agree, the graphics and gameplay was better than Madden the first few years.
