There are many lessons for us to learn from this conflict, that they are not making that mistake of integration like we did after the Civil War by carving out territory for themselves that they control. They did not have a fool like Frederick Douglas that has the ear of the President attacking all separatist attempts, talking about it is better to suffer the indignity of integration.
1. The Ukrainians will have cannibalist Ukrainian Russian influencers promoting products that manufacture overseas, concentrating them in low skilled positions that will be affected.
2. Cannibalist Russians will be spouting off nonsense about colleges to obfuscate the lack of jobs.
3. The government will promote capitalism where Ukrainians will dominate industry and steer the distribution of wealth towards themselves.
4. Back in the day this was not an issue, but will rapid technological leaps, omnipresent surveillance. This is the case with Uyghurs in China. East Germany really went to town on this against dissidents with their crude technology destroying their lives. The miniaturization of this technology is astounding and can be put in any household with relative ease.
5. Over policing of the Russian population, they might overtake us as the most incarcerated population.
