I am extremely hesitant to call most people Coons or claim they don't care. A lot of people did a lot of shit behind the scenes because they never wanted recognition for doing those things because that's not the reason they did them
There are a lot of stories about Prince and about Kobe Bryant that we would not have heard until after they died. They told people close to them ''not to disclose this information or you will feel my ire'
Do you really want smoke from prince? From Kobe bryant? Hell fucking no. If something good happens to you and you're told somebody famous made this happen for you but don't tell anybody you're going to respect their wishes nine times out of 10
Kobe Bryant went to go visit a sick kid in Phoenix and paid for that kid's hospital stay. Had he not died no one would have known.

They took what Prince initial gave them and improved it, he took it back and made it a Big Hit.
I guess the case can be made that he should have let them have the final version.
