United States constitution article 3 section 3.

There have been others who have been successfully prosecuted or killed for committing far less seditious acts against the country.

Considering Trump's childish stunt yesterday, I'm hoping people are prepared for possible retaliation once Trump is impeached. Something along the line of a scorched earth response is not above Trump. We really don't know the deal Trump and Putin may have agreed upon. Trump proved again yesterday he's without bottom. The thing is I'm not going to blame Trump by himself. The blame is with hide and go seek Mitch "The Obstructionist" O'Connell who is holding up progress on all fronts. While I'm on the subject of Mitch, since when have we seen or heard of the Senate Majority Leader hiding out where no one can reach him? Congress can override damn near anything a president rejects or refuses to sign 10 days after its delivered to the president.

I do believe Mueller is ready to roll with what he's gathered. An with Rudy in Trump's corner the Trump's fall should be imminent.

I would hope once we're beyond this clusterfuck of a president we can get this country back on the right course. A minimum of 10 years have now been wasted because of the republican party, Trump and O'Connell. The only remaining questionable character is Pence. So far he's shown nothing other that his ability repeat what he's told to say. Pence IMO is "The Ultimate Yes Man." The future still isn't looking bright.

Nah it's nothing personal....it's not even racial...it's just that she's a woman.

And I don't support the feminist movement. I don't enjoy working around women in my corporate environment. Regardless, even I can see that it's ingrained in our consciousness to be led by a man.

And you can't say it's the natural order of things because many past societies were matriarchal. It's just the construct that was set up by these penal colonies that rebelled to become states.

We don't even think to question it...just like we don't question why we vote Democratic, are largely Christian, or speak English.
Regarding why black people vote democratic, show me 1 year where republican policies and the presidential candidate favored black people. :smh:

I would broaden this out to "favored America". These dudes are a fucking disaster on every level. Their pie in the sky economic ideas, their insane deregulation (and regulatory capture) efforts, their foreign policy, their domestic policy, their fear mongering and xenophobia, their bullshit culture wars.... it's a party for tycoons who can only see ahead to the next quarter, small minded racists and total fucking retards. Dems have their faults (especially Republican Light Dems) but its not. fucking. close :smh:

Trump keeps threatening Cohen, who is the father-in-law?

On the real....

But can this be viewed as Attempted Witness Tampering..

Normally an action like this wouldn't amount to anything... but Trumps Twitter has been viewed as an Official Record of the president.

This is the second time Trump Randomly brought up Cohen's father in law...

Who is Michael Cohen's father-in-law? Trump says he should be investigated
by Allison Elyse Gualtieri
| January 12, 2019 11:57 PM

President Trump invoked a different figure Saturday when talking about the ongoing Russia investigation: his former attorney Michael Cohen's father-in-law.

In order for Cohen to get his sentence reduced, he thought, "I have an idea, I'll give you some information on the president. Well, there is no information," Trump said during his 20-plus-minute phone interview, in which he often rambled on, with Fox News' Jeanine Pirro on Saturday night. "He should give information maybe on his father-in-law, because that's the one that people want to look at."

Cohen, Trump's longtime personal attorney, pleaded guilty to lying to Congress in Novemberand to eight counts of campaign finance violations, tax fraud, and bank fraud in August, in part related to hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal over their alleged affairs with Trump. Cohen has been cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia meddling in the 2016 election, despite once saying he would take a bullet for the president.

When Pirro asked the name of Cohen's father-in-law, Trump came up empty-handed.

"I don't know, but you'll find out, and you'll look into it because nobody knows what's going on over there," he said, an unusual statement by a president regarding a private citizen. :suicide:

Cohen's father-in-law, Fima Shusterman, reportedly loaned millions to a Chicago cab company owner, who was mentioned in the FBI warrants used to raid Cohen's home and office. In the interview, Trump described the raid as a break-in.

"I was a client. He has a law firm. They broke into his law firm sometime early in the morning," Trump said of Cohen.

Shusterman loaned an estimated $20 million to Yasya Shtayner, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Shtayner, along with her husband, Semyon Shtayner, manage more than 350 Chicago cabs, including 20 owned by Cohen.

Trump previously mentioned Cohen's father-in-law, though not by name, in a December tweet.

Shusterman, who pleaded guilty to income tax fraud in 1993, owns a condo in Trump World Tower in New York. He and Shtayner both own condos outside Miami in another Trump development, which Shtayner used as the collateral for the loans from Shusterman.

"He's in trouble on some loans and fraud and taxi cabs and stuff that I know nothing about," Trump said of Cohen in the interview.

Trump continues to maintain the investigation into his campaign is a "hoax" and "witch hunt." The New York Times has reported there is an FBI counterintelligence investigation into himlaunched after his firing of former FBI Director James Comey and the Washington Postreported he concealed details of his interactions with Russia President Vladimir Putin.

"Here's the bottom line, there was no collusion. There was no obstruction. There was no anything," he said.

Michael Cohen worried about his family in wake of Trump's comments: Report
by Allison Elyse Gualtieri
| January 16, 2019 08:31 PM

Michael Cohen is set to testify next month in front of the House Oversight Committee.

But President Trump's comments about his family have him worried.

ABC News reported that Cohen, Trump's longtime attorney who pleaded guilty to charges partly related to hush-money payments to two women who had affairs with Trump, is having reservations about testifying in public — though congressional leaders have been sensitive to those concerns.

Sources told the outlet Cohen has said Trump's claims about his family are meant to intimidate him, and could lead to his family being targeted.

In an unusual move during an interview Saturday with Fox News, Trump said investigators should look into Cohen's father-in-law, whom Trump could not name. Fima Shusterman reportedly loaned millions to a Chicago cab company owner, who was mentioned in the FBI warrants used to raid Cohen's home and office.

Trump also mentioned Cohen's family following Cohen's plea deal in December. Trump tweeted, "Those charges were just agreed to by him in order to embarrass the president and get a much reduced prison sentence, which he did-including the fact that his family was temporarily let off the hook."
