Yeah, I put 50% of the blame on the repo guy for not have situational awareness. Why the fuck would you be under car still trying to hook it up after the guy hops in the car? Also what kind of repo truck don't have the hooks that deploy to pull the car out? This ain't the type of job you want to take your time with.
As far as buddy getting repoed he's going be sitting in prison for a piece of shit $3k Ford Focus. Here's a tip when people say you can't sue somebody that don't have money, that's bullshit. If they are able-bodied and working they will be paying that judgement off for years to come or the rest of their life. I said it before and I'll say it again. I spoken with people in the late in their 30's that have judgements against them stemming from not having auto insurance and getting into an accident where somebody was injured. Your check will be garnished until it's paid and bankruptcy remove that shit.

Nah, bro.
The repo man was primarily the one at fault here.
He knew the dude was in the car and yet he still proceeded to attempt the repossession.
All he had to do was let the guy go. There's always another day/time and better location to attempt the repo.
I guarantee you that the repo guy knew damn good and well he was NOT authorized to still try to get that car, but he didn't care.

It's like when a cop hangs on to a car and gets dragged by a driver he's trying to issue a ticket to or arrest. That's NOT in your job description.

Right, people putting their life on the line towing people cars that doesn't pay them enough..

It's not worth dealing with violent people who would shoot a person doing their job .
