any word on price point?
they're not trying to compete with the G35 are they?
i cant see how big this thing is
That Honda is little fam.
More details have emerged about the first hybrid to appear, a 5-door hatch with unique styling that's based on the Fit, but three inches taller and one inch wider. It will use the Civic Hybrid's Integrated Motor Assist technology and mate that car's 1.3-liter engine with 94 hp to a 15kW electric motor powered by a nickel-metal-hydride battery pack. Fuel economy, according to insider predictions, will be somewhere around 71 - 82 miles per gallon, but that's based on Japanese domestic use. Expect a drop for U.S. comparison.
Don't know if this is true or not but I heard that there was to be two verson of the LFA. The one that is posted already and a weaker verson to it, at a lower price point. Like how the G37 is a weaker verson of the GTR. any one heard this??
Haven't heard that yet. This is the period where a lot of rumors swirl so you're bound to hear anything until more solid info comes out. If they are only making 500, I can't see them making a cheaper version

Already got 2 suckers, I mean customers:D
Two Lexus LFAs sold in UK
http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/244275/
Europe's only Lexus LFA dealership will be on Park Lane, London - and two UK customers have already placed orders for the £343,000 car.

In total, Toyota UK has predicted it will sell 17 cars, which will be built in two batches for delivery in 2011 and 2012.

The dealership will employ an LFA specialist, who will be charged with looking after all European customers for the car.

However, Toyota insiders have insisted they are not worried about selling the full quota of 500 LFAs that the company has said it is prepared to build.

Instead, they point to the fact that the car has been built to build Toyota and Lexus's image as a maker of exciting cars.

They also concede that the car is unprofitable, even at this price - something not helped by the fact that the car has a carbon fibre tub, and only shares five parts with any other Lexus or Toyota.
The Lexus LFA debuted approximately 1 day ago and already German tuner 889speedshop is offering renderings detailing their plans for the first tuned version of the new LFA.

889speedshop will be adding their well-known touch to the Lexus LFA 889, making the already exclusive supercar even more-so. With a planned production run of just five cars, the LFA 889 will include the addition of an even lighter carbon-fiber hood and fender skins with an additional duct just ahead of the door. The front fascia has been revised for a more aggressive appearance and higher flow ducting for the front brakes. Out back a carbon fiber splitter will be added and the variable spoiler will be replaced with a fixed carbon fiber unit. Wheels will be also be quite exotic, featuring hollow core spokes beneath the even blacker finish.

Tuning will be kept subtle, with a freer-flowing titanium exhaust system and intake and a light ECU reprogram good for a planned 20 HP bump. Most importantly is the cost, which is expected to add $65,000 to the LFA's $400,000 price tag.

They out of there damn minds with the price point. Like Lord T and many others in this thread said, you can get a hand full of cars with that price and, that has the same or close too the power it can dish out.

You know I'm about tired of niggas spewing dumb shit who know nothing about automobiles.

Since when was the G37 a weaker version of the GT-R? Where is your lgic? :hmm:

If you knew any better you would know that the Nissan skyline GT-R is in a league all its own amongst the Nissan family.

Here is a secret the G37 is the more luxury version of the 370z, I know I know its new info :hmm:

There's nothing that screams exotic or "exclusive" looking at those LFA renderings Lort T posted. The ricer crowd will worship this thing though.

if its a turd on the track, you are right. numbers mean everything to elitists.. if someone would spend 2 million for that ugly ass veyron because it WAS the fastest, they will spend 375 for some other outstanding number to brag about.

The $350,000 Lexus LFA is the richer man’s Ferrari 599GTB. It’s also a bargain.

Word thats how it is:smh: For some one that talk like he knows alot about cars you seem to be not up on your stuff.

- The G35 and G37 are base of the skyline.read all about it
here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infiniti_G35#G35_sedan

The Infiniti G is a mid-size entry-level luxury car and coupe produced by Nissan's luxury brand Infiniti. The first two generations of the Infiniti G (P10 and P11) were based on the Nissan Primera and were originally compact executive cars, while the third generation (V35) of the Infiniti G were based on the sportier Nissan Skyline platform:dance:. In its latest version (V36) the Nissan FM platform used for the 2nd gen G cars has shared components with the Infiniti M and also underpins the 350Z and the Infiniti FX models.

- the only thing the g35 shared with the 350 was the engine thats it:hmm:. The G37 does not in share the same engine like the older G but a more impove verson of VQ37VHR engine.

-once againe let me say again, the G class of cars are in the same line as the GTR, It may not be able to go head to head with its big brother. its the scale down poor man verson of the GTR:hmm:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Skyline

The 11th generation Skyline (V35) was a major turning point for the nameplate, as it dropped the Skyline's trademark characteristics such as the straight-6 engine and turbocharging, and separated the GT-R into its own line, a decision which extended to all later Skylines. Nissan decided to position the Skyline for the luxury-sport market, while its platform-mate, the 350Z, revived the Z line of pure sports cars.[5] The V35 was the first Skyline made for export to North America, being sold under Nissan's luxury marque Infiniti as the G35. The Skyline (V36/J50) is sold in North America, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Middle East as the Infiniti G37.

-Thats why many GTR and G5/37 fans take off the infiniti badge and replace it with a skyline one:hmm:

-So were is your facts to back your statment:hmm:???

-I know I know its new info:rolleyes:

The GT-R went another route. Even though it can be said that it is expensive for a Nissan, it's performance is on par with cars that cost 4-5x more than it does.

The thing everyone is complaining about the LF-A is that at $375,000 it is in company of other cars that perform better, looks better, and that command that premium off top. Like I said earlier, it will cost more than the new Ferrari Italia 458
