Oh word?? Where at?

Shit the whole city, but we were mainly on the Southside, Westside, and that art/hippie district mainly.

When I was there I didn’t even have cut the from the barbershop. Was lookin scraggly then a mug, bc I was in grind mode working on a project up there. Them girls was on me still. Black, white, mixed, latinas, it didn’t matter. They could tell I wasn’t from there cuz of the southern accent. Them women are fine up there, shoot they know what they want and will pursue like a lioness hunting a gazelle.

I am not sure where you will be located in CHI

2 good breakfast spots around the downtown area:
[]Batter & Berries a little north downtown 2748 N Lincoln Ave
[]Lou Mitchell's right in the middle of downtown 565 W. Jackson Blvd
Parking area might suck tho! But food good as fukk.

One day price for entry to the museum- $25

That's some bullshit.

I’m going to try Giordano's, Pequod’s, Pizza Duo & Uno. At least 3 out of the 4.

You ever swim in Lake Michigan?

Yes I’ve swam when I was little

NOW? People are dying and not being found in that lake. It’s almost like Lake Lanier if u ask me.

And those are good prices from what I’ve seen.

U can always go to the chicago children’s museum at navy pier.

I was in ChiTown last month. I got put on to this spot called Johnnies. It’s in the Elmwood area. They serve Italian Beef and Italian Ice. IMO it’s was better than Portellos. Only accepts cash, they have an assembly line setup for the cooks and drink station, Within 3-4 mins of you ordering your food is ready. Lines be long but those workers knock it down like it’s nothing.

Oh and Babas & Maxwells are the truth. OMG.

ChiTown and New Orleans has the best food in the US IMO

Pequods was rated #1 in America by yelp

Im trying either them or Lou Malnetis (however you say it)

I ended up going to Giordano's, Pequod’s, and Lou's.

Pequod’s- 9.7
Lou's- 9.1
Giordano's- 8

The Italian beef was also off the chain. Al's is the best known and most highly regarded and it was the bomb, a little more than the local place I went to but a lot better.

There is place called Nancy’s Pizzeria with great deep dish. I love it more than Giordano’s. Its definitely worth trying. They have good wings too

I tried Lou's... not cracked up to be all the hype as everyone says... IMO

Also went to Michael Jordan's steakhouse and Sapori Tratrioli

We also did L station (Black owned) for drinks and dinner

Breakfast we did Tweet Lets Eat, Stacx and Honeybear

Events we did the Architecture tour and the Empire State building tour (Make SURE the weather is clear)

Chiraq definitely had some gems to explore

Currently here and so far:

Portillos - 3 outta 10

- Italian beef was meh
- Hot dog was disgusting / tried Chicago Dog and Chili cheese and onion dog. Way better in DC.

Lou Malnati’s - 8.5 outta 10

- Chicago Classic hits
- The Lou was decent too

Ricobene’s - 8 outta 10

- Breaded steak sandwich is crazy
- Pizza puff was ok but not better than a calzone for me

Wilma’s BBQ - 6.5 outta 10

- Sausage links were good
- Rib tips were average
- Fried chicken was good
- Didn’t like the Soul Food egg roll or the Mac and cheese
- Fried fish was breaded nice but not seasoned enough

I gotta hit the gym one of these days cause this food tour is crazy.

Peqoud’s is on the list next.
