New to it... starting real slow with mild and slightly infused sticks...

I had this tonight:
Drew Estates Dulce

Real smooth, hints of caramel... was gonna sip some crown bourbon mash with it but I went crown apple instead... I know most people think to pair infused or sweet cigars with something that has a little more bite, but this worked well for me... took a pull, licked my lips and then sipped that apple crown... tasted like a carnival apple... shit was CRAZY good

Yeah man me and my boys got into it... as I'm new to this they all started clowning me saying I shouldn't pair those 2 together but fuck them niggas... I'M ME.

I'm coming at this shit with the curiosity of a child exploring the world around him, seeing what works, what doesn't work... finding my own path.

Plus I have a taste for sweet, fruity alcoholic beverages anyway so that shit was perfect for me. Don't get me wrong I love a good old fashion, but I can also appreciate a bomb ass mixed drink that hides that alcohol taste and is still strong.

I got a stick I'll fire this weekend, it has honey and floral/fruit notes to it according to the salesman. I'll post it and my thoughts on it when I do.

I bought another one of these and decided I'm going all out with the pairing...

2 parts rumchata
1 part fireball
1 part vanilla crown or salted caramel crown

Since the cigar is so mild and smooth, the drink should pair really well with it. Super excited to try this pairing

Gonna enjoy this little cigar tonight... Mad Minnow

Nice lil cigar, notes of chocolate and a bit peppery on the finish that sneaks in. Just had a nice Italian food meal, finished with tiramisu and a smoked old fashion.

This was the first in a long time that I've never finished a cigar.I had to relight it 5 times... until trashing it.. I let the proprietor pick one out for me.. Which I never do

Caldwell's Love live the Queen.. Which is a pretty good smoke

Man I've been on a roll with some really good smokes as of late. This one right here is a new favorite of mine. It's made here locally so I dunno if you guys will be able to get your hands on it... but imma real nigga so if y'all want one message me and we can go about making that happen...

It's named Call to Arms. One of the better cigars I've had in a while.

That's cool... the guy that owns it either lives there still or is originally from Humble, TX which is just north of Houston. Guys at the shop made it seem like it was a regional thing only but if their sticks are all over then good on the local boys making it and getting them in more shops.

I don't check the thread for a couple months and y'all talking favorite old lighters ,creating flavor combos with liquor and cigars that compliments or contrast......y'all done got bougie up in here !

PS - Bout to go buy a smoking jacket
Speaking of...

I had a CAO Cameroon Perfecto last night with a double of Jefferson's Reserve. The cigar was a little peppery when exhaled thru the nose but it wasn't unbearable. It was actually a nice smoke that had just enough bite to keep you from puffing it too quickly as I tend to do with the smoother or infused cigars I sometimes smoke.

This wasn't my favorite cigar but it's one I'm not opposed to having again.

Hmmm... Ok

Stolen Throne Call to Arms Cigars

Stolen Throne was established by JR Cannon and Lee Marsh in 2019 in Virginia, the cigars are blended in collaboration with Texas-based cigar manufacturer and blender Noel Rojas. The Call to Arms is Stolen Throne's second cigar, and it features a Sumatran wrapper around Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Loaded with notes of chocolate, pepper, cream, leather, and nuts.

They are Va based & Rojas is in TX. Rojas has damn good cigars that he put out himself.

Stolen Throne's best cigar is still the Crook of the Crown, I had a cigar from the original release. .

Seems I got my cigars mixed up.

It's not Stolen Thrones A Call to Arms that's from a Houston, it was another favorite of mine Bocock Bros.
