I just smoked one of these for the first time a few weeks ago. They are number 1 on the Cigar Aficionado list for a reason. Great smoke! My Father is one of my favorite brands. Between the My Father No. 1, the Jamie Garcia, and the Flor de las Antillas, they have a great lineup of smokes.

Just arrived in the mail...will wait a week b4 firing one up !!!!

Some cohiba's I picked up in the Nassau last month for my bday. Don't know if their actual cohiba's but they were only 5 dollars so I got them.

I have never seen Cohibas in cellophane before nor with that Kristoff style tail end. And for only $5?

My boy ran into a cigar store and the owner sold him a "Jay Z cigar" .The next day he was raving to me and his friends how good the smoke was. The problem was the cigar band said "Rockefeller" !!!

Here is a genuine picture of

Jay Z /Cohiba Cigar !!!

Tried one of these on New Years an incredible smoke on the mild side very smooth with an easy draw. Just IMO a little pricey @ $7.50 but worth it.

It's the Bahamas.

Either way I can't complain they were only 5 dollars. I'd be mad if they tried charging me real Cohiba prices.

You are the first person that I've ever heard say that a Padron 26 was mild. My buddies and I smoke them quite a bit and they pack a punch. You must have an iron lung...lol.

Padron 50th Anniversary

The 50th anniversary of one of the most prestigious cigar brands in the world.

Designed by Nelson Alfonso, a visual artist and cigar manufacturer born in Havana, Cuba, the Padron 50th Anniversary Humidor was by far the most talked about release of 2014. To celebrate the ultra-premium cigar company's 50th anniversary, Padron goes all out with one of the most stunning humidors ever created, filled with 50 Padron 50th Anniversary The Hammer cigars. In typical fashion with luxury items of this caliber, only 1,000 humidors were produced and each was individually numbered. Buyers of the humidor will be able to purchase refills from the original retailer, 50 cigars at a time, when they are made available by Padron. Each humidor will come with a certificate of ownership, and a plate describing the owner registration and refill process.

The Padron 50th Anniversary The Hammer contains some of the finest tobaccos ever made by the Padron family. Available in either natural or maduro, the tobaccos in these Nicaraguan puros have been aged for 10 years. One of the best cigars from Padron you'll ever lay your hands on, there's no description that could ever fully do this blend justice. An initial smooth and creamy, medium-body continues to evolve with each puff and build up in strength and complexity. The continuous onslaught of rich flavors and aromas of chocolate, black pepper, and cedar, is just the beginning. This is a cigar offering a unique experience that you truly need to experience for yourself.

I'm kind of new to the cigar scene but I quickly learned what's good and what's just so-so. I'm going to try that Perdomo Lot 23. You got any other suggestions.

Thanks.

I like box Press ,oval cigars ,double perfectos (they often draw attention on the shape alone) ..it works for me when enjoying a cigar.

These are all medium - bodied cigars

San Lotano Maduro (Oval)
cs_slf.jpg
[/IMG]

San Lotano Oval comes from AJ's factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The Oval features a truly unique shape. The best way to describe it would be an oval shaped box-press, if you can imagine that. The unique shape and aged tobaccos truly makes this blend an anomaly in the industry and one of the finest cigars to come out this year.

Why mess with perfection? Probably because you have some choice maduro wrappers to work with. At least, that's what we're assuming with AJ's latest creation. Take everything you like about the original Oval except add some espresso and cocoa notes. Definitely, a blend that lives up to the San Lotano name.

La Aurora Maduro Preferido

Made in limited quantities, the La Aurora Preferido is one of the best selling super premiums made in the Dominican Republic. Available in an assortment of wrappers, the cigar has gained worldwide recognition for its quality, consistency, and flavor.

La Aurora is the Dominican Republic's oldest brand, and is rolled at the country's oldest factory. The Preferido is the traditional size, a perfecto expanding to a fat center in the middle, giving the enthusiast a variety of flavors and strengths. Today the size is made to commemorate the brand's beginnings and is sought out by cigar lovers around the world. Production is limited to 200,000 cigars per year, adding to the exclusivity.

This cigar is available in a variety of wrappers. The Platinum Cameroon, Red Maduro, and Gold Corojo are all extra aged in oak barrels for several years to give them a very unique and settled flavor. The Sapphire line features a Connecticut wrapper that is aged a full 5 years in a rum barrel. These wrappers are combined with a unique Dominican filler for an experience unlike any other. If you want a cigar with a prestigious history and unique taste, the La Aurora Preferido line is an excellent selection. It is the culmination of over 100 years in the cigar and tobacco industry.

Alec Bradley Post Embargo (A must have in my Humidor)

A blend looking to the future...

Alec Bradley Post Embargo points to a day, hopefully in the not too distant future, when the trade embargo is lifted and the marketplace is open to competition between Cuban and non-Cuban brands. Alan Rubin of Alec Bradley cigars looks forward to the level playing field and the removal of the forbidden fruit aspect to Cuban cigars.

Alec Bradley Post Embargo’s box and band art looks ahead to the future when Cuba and America normalize relations. Sporting a zesty Honduran wrapper hugging Nicaraguan and Honduran long-leaves, Alec Bradley Post Embargo is a medium to full-bodied gem. With a dizzying array of flavors including baking spice, cedar, nuts, earth, and cocoa, you can expect a perfect balance with a smooth progression. Do yourself a favor and give this stellar blend a try, and we’re sure you’ll be coming back to the well often. (This one gave me a nice buzz)

Its gets stronger in small degrees as it burns to the end
