To be fair Jim Brown's accomplishments and peak of his career came before most of us were born or were too young to be aware.

I'm honestly only aware of him because of my pops which I always remembered.

Jerry Springer was a cultural phenomenon during a lot of our formative years.

Jim Brown is obviously more important but many just don't have that connection to him.

Jim Brown is an American hero. He should be revered and remembered as the National Treasure that he is. Most of us do not have the words to properly summarize his life accomplishments because they are so many that we forget about. A legend in every sense of the word, Rest peacefully Sir.

I could not have said it any better. The photo of Bill Russell, Muhammed Ali, Jim Brown, and Kareem Abdul Jabar sitting at that news conference (in their prime) is in my top five favorites of all time.
