I heard Kendrick Perkins saying the same thing and it made no sense to me, there's no way you can be below average in college with 18-21 year olds and think you could develop better playing with 25-30+ grown men. LeBron isn't qualified to evaluate Bronny because Bronny is his son so as we've seen from his post he's delusional talking about Bronny is better than some NBA players he has seen. This move to even consider entering the draft has to be all on Lebron because no way Bronny thinks he did anything this year that would make the NBA view him as a prospect

I can see it. Kids that play up a level tend to dominate their real age level. I’ve seen this often in Martial Arts, Soccer, and Basketball. People tend to play to the level they are. If there were two equal players, one played this season in High School and the other played this season at USC, which player do you think would improve the most for next season?

Max Christie, Brandon Boston, Skal Labisserie were all McDonald's All Americans in recent history who disappointed in their 1 year of college and then went pro and got drafted. None have become stars but they're proof that you don't have to excellent in college to get drafted. The NBA drafts based on what they see in you and what they feel they can turn you into whether that's a star or a valuable role player.
Some guys develop after they're drafted and some don't just like some guys put their name in the NBA only to come back to college and improve which is fully in the range of possibilities here. And this year's draft class is considered weak especially compared to next 2 years so why shouldn't he throw his name in the draft and see what happens.

I read this question multiple times and don't understand what you're asking

Bronny James did nothing special to even be a McDonald's All American he just got it because of his name, Bronny is only 6'3 if he wasn't LeBrons son he probably wouldn't have even been going to any D1 college for basketball

Bronny been playing against Blue Chip talent since he was a child, all the way through high school. He may not have NBA lottery talent, but D1 encompasses several levels of talent. He is absolutely a D1 player at the very least.

So you spent so much time watching him in high school apparently that you know that the only reason that he was ranked or got scholarship offers or was a McDonald's All American was because of his dad even though that hasn't happened for the kids of other NBA greats.
And apparently according to you a coach would value LeBron James opinion and approval more than their own job since it'd be a disaster and moronic to give any playing time to someone I'll equipped to play D1 college basketball

I watched this guy play several times in high school and college and he is one of the least gifted atheletes I ever saw play basketball. He looks like a football player trying to play basketball. Everytime I see him dunk it looks like it took too much effort.

This guy has been forced on the public since he was 7 years old. He probably should follow John David Washington's lead and get into acting. I remember the media was telling me he was the second coming of Emmitt Smith after coming out of Morehouse, yes Morehouse.

If you have dudes like Pat Bev in the NBA, college stats be dammed, Bronny can play in the NBA. Making the NBA is about politics just as much as skill. Bronny will likely be on a 2 way contract with the G League anyway, so what are we really debating about?

That maybe true but the ONLY reason this is gotten so much attention is on some nepo baby shit..a dude averaging less than ten points and has heart issues is NOT someone the league is clamoring over themselves to acquire.

Yall really got to relax. That pick wasn't going to save the franchise. It was more VALUBALE to the Lakers to do this and have that history attached with their franchise and also have Lebron go even harder than he usually does.

No 55th pick has ever been an NBA All-Star, All-NBA player, All-Rookie team player, or All-Defensive team pick. The total NBA career scoring for all 55th picks is 28,364 points
