James Avery was a great actor, memorable as Shredder on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and is generally ranked just behind James Evans as the greatest Black TV Dad by all accounts, He was a very nice man in real life and Will Smith speaks glowingly of him the cast was moved to tears at his tribute on the reunion special.
Why denigrate the man's legacy like this?

I don't give a shit personally. Dude was an incredible actor and had a phenomenal voice. I don't even care that we have clearly gay board members.
