With Gunn in charge I'm actually excited about the whole slate
Especially Swamp thing authority and titans
He got a troma background and you saw his work in guardians and suicide squad
He is great with groups and deep cuts.
Hopefully Rosenbaum and Welling won't run into Grant G and Joe Manganiello outside of Gunn's office 
I’m gonna call it TODAY!!!
Disney will purchase the DC Properties, most likely around 2030.
James Gunn knows what Disney/Kevin Feige’s plans are going out for the next 10+ years with Marvel.
He was sent to DC to set the stage for the acquisition.
Warner Bros. has owned the DC property since the late 1960s and basically have done absolutely nothing with it.
Disney has done more with Marvel that blows away DC.
And now with the recent merger of WB/Discovery, Discovery has a reputation of putting out cheap content and getting massive return profits.
DC property does not fit in their business plan.
We will wait and see…..

James Gunn Says A DC/Marvel Crossover “Is More Likely Now” That He’s In Charge
The dream of a Marvel-DC crossover in films remains alive, James Gunn has said. But don't plan on it anytime soon.deadline.com
It’s a fevered dream among superhero fans. And while a DC-Marvel movie crossover is not happening soon, it certainly is on the table, at least according to writer/director/executive James Gunn, who has worked in both camps.
The comic books have already seen the characters in dual adventures, dating as far back as the 1970s. Spider-Man has teamed with Superman and Batman, The Hulk has battled Batman, and even the Silver Surfer has met Superman. Not to mention the Avengers and Justice League of America team-ups.
Such a long tradition seems ripe for filmdom’s exploitation.
Gunn, who now heads DC Studios with Peter Safran, allowed that it’s not far-fetched to see those sort of team-ups become films – some day.
In their latest issue, Empire quoted Gunn take on the matches as a definite maybe. “I’m certain that’s more likely now that I’m in charge [at DC],” Gunn told the magazine, “Who knows?” However, “That’s many years away, though. I think we have to establish what we’re doing [at DC] first. I would be lying to say that we haven’t discussed it. But all discussions have been very, very light and fun.”
Gunn’s last Marvel project commitment, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, opens in theaters on May 5.

Disney+ Hulu Announces Release of Major DC Superhero Movies on Platform
In a shocking move, two major DC movies will soon begin streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

Disney+ announced one of the most surprising releases in history: three movies featuring DC superheroes will be available on Disney+ and Hulu.
Disney+ is best known as the home of Marvel and Star Wars' biggest heroes. It regularly adds new content from both universes as new projects are developed and released.
On the other hand, while DC projects are most commonly found on Warner Bros.-based streamer Max, different entries can also be found across the streaming landscape.
DC Superhero Movies Arrive on Disney+
As part of a new "Next On Disney+" video on YouTube, Disney+ announced the arrival of three blockbuster movies from the DC Extended Universe to both Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
2017's Wonder Woman, 2019's Shazam!, and 2023's Shazam! Fury of the Gods are now all available to watch via Disney's two-library streaming bundle. This is not the first time that DCEU movies have streamed on the Disney-owned platform, as 2020's Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey streamed on Hulu in late 2023.
These movies' Disney+/Hulu debuts also come after the 2022 DC animated movie, DC League of Super-Pets, began streaming on Hulu on March 26.
Will More DC Movies Come to Disney+ or Hulu?
It is difficult to predict if or when other DC movies will be available to stream on Disney+ or Hulu since those deals are largely kept under wraps.
Disney even previously bid for the streaming rights to a Batman show in 2022, which opens the door for other DC properties to move to another new streaming venue.
For now, fans can enjoy three of the DCEU's 16 movies on Disney's home for streaming, giving fans a chance to enjoy some of the most memorable moments in franchise history there.
Whether the rest of the franchise joins that trio in the future is still unknown, although fans will be looking to see what happens in the coming months with the greater DC Universe.
