I confess that today and tomorrow are my weekend since I'll be busy doing film work for most of Saturday and Sunday. It's not mine but fuck it, being on set and being involved with another project is good enough for me. Since it's the "weekend" this is the official theme for the moment...

I confess that during that meeting I had to "step up to the plate" and select a shift that no one wanted at the time. This particular shift would have had me staying at work until at least 7:30pm twice a week. In all honesty, the hours weren't even the real source of anger. Even though I didn't want to stay that late, the source of my anger was what I (and most of my other co-workers) deemed to be a stupid excuse made by one individual for not taking that shift or any other one that would have accommodated someone who had a legit reason for needing to leave at or around 5pm. As a wise man once said...

..."It's the principle of the whole thing!!! It's principalities in this!!!"

I also confess that as a result of everything that happened since then a few things were adjusted and I actually won't have to stay late on those days. I now have one of, is not the best shift(s) at work now. So at the end of it all I was rewarded for volunteering to stay late so some one else could leave at a better time...
