Am I the only one that curious why the police let so many shots off? I mean if you pop dude with one or two shots from the beginning with a 9mm why do you keep shooting?

Yes it was logical to save his own life. He did not mean to kill the female and his bullet was not meant for her. What choice did he have? If you were cornered in a hallway and a gun was pointed at you are you going to give up your life to save her?

Once the police appeared with guns, the entire situation escalated. So, the cops actually made things worse (which is what cops typically do).
