It's kinda funny... I looked her up a couple days ago and some beauty pageant article said she was Hmong too. It was unrelated to this case so there was no connection made to a cop.
Also, Xiong was her previous husband's (now dead) last name.
I looked up his obituary from 2013 (he was living in Missouri but he died in Laos) and it says he was married to a May Thao from 1991-2006

This was the argument that I've been trying to put together!! All this country cares about is money. As people were dying from Covid, all we heard from the people in charge was "but the economy". If the economy is so important, why wouldn't corporations be on the front lines doing everything they could to call for justice. For all the people that say corporations shouldn't get political, they need to understand that corporations own the politicians. They are political.
