I believe HIV is not only a mandatory test, but also a standard when getting blood work for sex work. However, Herpes is still for whatever reason, an optional test.
I do recall folks in the past saying herpes is so routine in the industry it pretty much ignored.
The production companies may require it, but when it comes to testing, performers still have to request it.
