Dealing with Alzheimer's and Dementia in Family Members

My dad has dementia. It takes a family effort to deal with it. My mom, bless her soul, is his primary caretaker. It is sad because they are held hostage by it and its not what she was planning on doing in these later years of her life.

I think diet is number one. Dr Sebi said dementia is mucus on the brain, so if you can clear the brain from mucus, you can stop the mental deterioration. But my dad refuses to change how he eats. Its the afro-caribbean diet of daily meat and starch that he just can't give up. He reacts like a 5-year-old when you try to feed him vegetables.
