Just wanted to ask for my bgol fam to do what they do and assist us in getting support for the Sickle Cell Assembly Bill in New York State...

and tell Governor Cuomo to support this bill it would be a blessing.

I got one issue well not an issue but a conundrum...

my daughter is back in the hospital and the social worker doctors nurses other parents

all think my kid would be a great "face" for the movement.

But I am SUPER protective of my kids...

I understand they saying she "looks" perfect...

I have been told she is really cute she has big eyes chubby cheeks huge smiles and curly light brown hair and light complexion.

Its messed up by have SEEN people reaction when they see HER sick as opposed to kids who look more like ME.

I honestly was naive enough that "good hair" and "complexion" matter in a SICK KID?!

I just assumed an innocent sick child REGARDLESS of their looks and skin tone would open your heart.

Apparently I have been told I am incorrect.

I don;t know if I want MY KID to be the FACE...

is that me being selfish?

DO IT!! This is an opportunity for you to reach new metwors with deeper connections and greater WEALTH and INFLUENCE. Make sure you have legal ppwk drafted that states that you are own and control her image, likeness, etc and how it can be used to promote this cause or another one. Make sure loyalties and residuals are mentioned very clearly on there. I'm no lawyer so you may want to holler at the attorney brothers on the board.
