dawg...it's monday and you calling the game already?
anything can happen....
upsets happen...you never know
I coached and I am just talking football X's and O's. Man It is going to be tough Saturday for several reason. If I am wrong i welcome the debate. But, let's talk numbers because they paint a picture that should have us nervous for Saturday.
Through 3 games the Buffs have not shown much or gave us any confidence that they will improve overnight. Here are their stats through 3 games.
What stands out here is their struggle on first downs, which directly impacts their third down defense. The Buffaloes often find themselves defending third and short situations, making it incredibly tough to get off the field. They also don't create many negative plays that would force a team in 2nd/3rd and long.
- Total defense = 122nd ranked
- Run defense = 119th ranked
- Passing yards allowed = 107th ranked
- Third down defense = 117th ranked
- First down defense = 101st ranked
- Red zone = 12th ranked
- Tackle for loses = 92nd ranked
- Defensive Pass Efficiency = 74th ranked
- Team Sacks = 91nd ranked
Fam they rank 91st in tackle for losses and 92nd in sacks. Which indicates their inability to apply pressure and create negative plays. Both their run defense and pass defense are struggling, and it won't get any easier with Oregon coming in with the 4th ranked offense and the 5th ranked passing attack in the nation.
Now the Buffs' offense has shown promise, they can move the ball well at times. Colorado has the 23rd ranked offense. I think they are a bit better than the 23rd ranking on offense but their run game at 127th, is what keeps the offense out of the top 5.
The big question mark heading into Saturday's game remains: Can they step up and make enough defensive stops when it counts?
This who he’s talking about
For what? The putting pressure on the University and Prime to suspend Shedeur Sanders
They say he poked some dude in the eyeFor what?

How close is Colorado and Colorado state?Dude is probably receiving death threats from other white people. Colorado is after all a white school in a mostly white city in a mostly white state. White folks are more fanatical about football than we are and after 20 losing seasons your first winning season is on the horizon and some muthafucka fucks that up.

This Monday morning, the Pac-12 has released kickoff times for conference games in Week 5.
Surprisingly, the biggest matchup on the slate by far - USC at Colorado - won't be played in primetime. Deion Sanders' squad will be hosting Lincoln Riley's Trojans at Noon ET on FOX.
Despite the game being the featured matchup for FOX's Big Noon Kickoff, fans can't seem to wrap their heads around the early 10 a.m. local start time.
Take a look.
"This is why there will be no more Pac-12," Aaron argued.
"Not another 10am I can’t do this again," one Colorado fan said.
"9am kickoffs locally should be banned. Shame on y’all," another fan wrote.
"these times are why this conference is irrelevant," Joey said.
"Y’all are such an amateur operation!!!" Jacob wrote.
Before taking on USC in Week 5, Colorado will look to keep their undefeated season alive against No. 10 Oregon this weekend.
Kickoff for that game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
