Got a whole thread about ALL HBCU SPORTSYall are talking and not saying anything. Not a single person has given even a remotely slight idea on how the hell JSU was supposed to keep him there lol. And no, HBCU's do not give back like PWI's do because on average their grads don't make as much as PWI grads do. DO you folks even know anything about HBCU football?????
Like the other guys said CU didn’t have the money neither
@Mask I was wondering if they would boost Harrison after the game. Glad he finally getting some limelight.
Yes…. I think they starting to understand everything… coaches understand the players, players seeing the system…
Like literally everybody And everything is new..
Just think Seydoe Traore could’ve been shining in that spot…
Now he’s missing the year because of double Transferring. Gotta sit out
How about they just come up with the money they promised him first? You keep making bullshit excuses for HBCU bad business practices, that's why he left. He clearly wasn't expecting P5 money as evidenced by your own words he was there to build hence why he used his own money to pay his coaches and build facilities. He had a plan, they kept fucking up, end of story.Uh, Colorado didn't have the moneh THEN, but they offered him 29 mil which he GOT lol. You know how? Their alumni. Simple. Now, please tell me what HBCU could even afford to pay half that for a coach? Cut the bullshit. We forgetting already that Deion used some of his own money to get that program to where he wanted it to be???? You clearly dont know shit about HBCU sports lol. JSU can't even get their own stadium built in Jackson and the city barely has drinkable water. But yes, I'm sure they would've been able to come up with enough money to keep a damn P5 school from taking their coach.
He is exactly where I expected Ziko to be right now.
I thought Ziko left because the offense was predicted to use the TE primarily to block?
They getting right
They getting right
QUACK!!!!!!!!!!It's been a good run, but as of 12:30 tomorrow...this shit over mayne! Ain't no way in hell they're beating Oregon w/ that defense.
What are you saying sorry for? You are just dropping information you obtained.sorry but I just had to
ok so what’s the context with Irving or even the Rock
Below are Colorado’s defensive stats through 3 games. This is all of FCSQuestion can Oregon defense stop Colorado
Silly article because Miami ain’t thinking about Colorado. We don’t even recruit in the same areas. Plus Miami is a much better football teamDid University of Miami Ban Michael Irvin and Warren Sapp in 2023 For Supporting Deion Sanders?

A rumor is going viral on social media that former NFL stars and University of Miami alumni Warren Sapp and Michael Irvin have been banned from their alma mater for openly supporting Deion Sanders, the head coach of the University of Colorado.

The rumor alleges that the University of Miami administration was unhappy with Sapp and Irvin for endorsing another college football team instead of their own, and decided to revoke their privileges as former players and donors.
The rumor has not been confirmed or denied by any official sources, but it has sparked a lot of debate and controversy among college football fans and analysts.
Some have criticized Sapp and Irvin for being disloyal to their school and betraying the legacy of the Miami Hurricanes, one of the most successful and prestigious programs in college football history. Others have defended Sapp and Irvin for showing their friendship and admiration for Sanders, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest NFL cornerbacks of all time and a trailblazer for Black coaches in college football.
The situation shows that the support for Deion Sanders is so deep that it goes beyond the realm of staying loyal to your college. Sanders, who is in his first season as the head coach of Colorado, has already made a huge impact on the college football landscape, leading the Buffaloes to a 3-0 start and a No. 18 ranking in the AP poll.
He has also attracted national attention for his charismatic personality, his flashy style, and his outspoken advocacy for historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Sanders previously coached at Jackson State University, an HBCU in Mississippi, where he won two Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) titles, and the Eddie Robinson Award as the best coach in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
If University of Miami really banned Michael Irvin and Warren Sapp just for showing love to Deion Sanders, that would be super petty, and tarnish the school’s sports legacy
People don’t understand that Power 5 schools get a ton of money from TV revenue.Yeah the amount of money of like 1 or 2 Power 5 schools would probably supersede the entire MEAC....It's hard reality, but true....
I don't know why anyone in their right mind would have though he was going to stay....
Hell you even see coaches among the various black schools move around...Coaches in the SIAC make less than coaches in the MEAC, and SWAC coaches are probably at the top of the list when talking about salaries....
I would say that as poorly as their defense is perceived to play...they're opponents gave up more points going against them..Below are Colorado’s defensive stats through 3 games. This is all of FCS
It’s just hard to win against big time programs with a defense like this. People thought I was hating or trolling when I said Colorado’s defense was bad and the main reason was their defensive coordinator Charles Kelly
- Total defense = 122nd ranked
- Run defense = 119th ranked
- Passing yards allowed = 107th ranked
- Third down defense = 117th ranked
- First down defense = 101st ranked
- Red zone = 12th ranked
- Tackle for loses = 92nd ranked
- Defensive Pass Efficiency = 74th ranked
- Team Sacks = 91nd ranked
I said from day 1 Charles Kelly was a bad hire and a liability. You can’t convince me that Colorado’s talent on defense is this bad.
Dawg I realized something for the second time, you would answer one question or act like you answering one question and ignore the others…Silly article because Miami ain’t thinking about Colorado. We don’t even recruit in the same areas. Plus Miami is a much better football team
Better yet bend but don’t break type of defense.I would say that as poorly as their defense is perceived to play...they're opponents gave up more points going against them..
and you cant say those teams were bad because CU's record at this point is SUPPOSED to be either 0-3 or at best 1-2... so hindsight is 20-20 and you cant say that TCU, Neb and CSU are garbage when NO ONE had them beating even those teams in their predictions this summer.
What if they're the type of team that tends to play up or down to the level of their competition??
At this point CU is playing with house money....if they lose.. well they're supposed to lose....ESPECIALLY TO THAT TEAM! and who said theyd go undefeated anyway...If they win they're golden..if they get stomped it's OREGON! If they stomp Oregon's ass they'll be damn near teflon and 4-0 with Oregons head on their mantle!Better yet bend but don’t break type of defense.
The Cam Newton Auburn team had my and my peeps pissed off until we understood who they were around week 4/5.
Not have an elite defense and a hurry up spread type of offense, sometimes don’t mesh.
Say the defense is on the field for 13 plays give up a field goal, offense have a 3 & out then defense on the field for 10 plays and get a pick at the 10. Offense go 90 yards in 3 plays for the score…
We stayed talking shit about the defensive until we understood what we had….
That’s bullshit… Miami had about a 20 year run. Some have criticized Sapp and Irvin for being disloyal to their school and betraying the legacy of the Miami Hurricanes, one of the most successful and prestigious programs in college football history.
When you have a 122nd ranked defense, it places too much pressure on the offense to have perfect games. That has to improve especially against a talented team. It’s either coaching or scheme.I would say that as poorly as their defense is perceived to play...they're opponents gave up more points going against them..

I will be watching the Colorado game. Miami plays Temple and temple is terrible. I will rewatch the Miami game later to view some of our young guys get some burn. Miami may not get tested for a while. Depends on how Clemson looks this weekend. Our tough games would be considered UNC, Duke, FSU and Clemson. Other than that, it is pretty lightDawg I realized something for the second time, you would answer one question or act like you answering one question and ignore the others…
Do you bruh…
Yesterday I was about to ask you after you stated Miami and Colorado play at the same time. Who you’re watching because I know damn well it’s not going to be Miami but I decided to just leave that shit alone.
Auburn had a top 50 defense and Oregon had a top 20 defense that year. No team has won with the 122nd ranked defense.Better yet bend but don’t break type of defense.

Oh, this must be part of the reason as to why Coach Prime is so confident that he will be able to recruit the big men he needs for next season. They are blowing this out of context. Sapp is going through the formal steps of becoming a coach at Colorado so of course he can’t be on UM sidelines
