As we get closer to the highly anticipated matchup this weekend between the Colorado Buffalos and your USC Trojans, it is crucial for both sides. The Trojans are coming off a shaky victory over Arizona State, while the Buffalos are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Oregon Ducks.
This is a massive game for both sides, and it could have implications for how the Pac-12 Conference shakes out down the line. Colorado could be without one of their best players in this game once again, as Travis Hunter remains injured.
Hunter missed the game against Oregon, but if it's up to him, he will be suiting up this weekend. Hunter texted Colorado head coach Deion Sanders about what he wanted to do this week with USC coming up.
“I need to play this week,” Hunter said. “We need to get everything we can so I can get back on the field. I’m not taking no for an answer.”

It remains to be seen if Hunter will play, but Sanders provided his response to his star player. It indicates that he may not play against USC, but we shall see what happens over the rest of the week.
“No, you ain’t ready and I care about you more than I care about this game,” Sanders responded. “You’re gonna change the game of football one day when you’re healthy and ready. Your future is brighter than mine ever will be or ever was. Relax and get healthy. I love you, son.”

Either way, if Hunter misses this game, it would give the Trojans a significant advantage. But they can't take the Buffalos for granted if he does miss. The Trojans must come into this game ready to go because the Buffalos will be coming in with a desperate mindset.
They were just destroyed last week, and pride becomes a factor. USC better be prepared; otherwise, they could lose their undefeated year.
